I can't remember, but I do know that I had a 6.6 pound baby and the newborn sizes were too big!

@LindsayInNY: she still fits 0-3 for now and she is 10 lbs 2 oz and 21.5 inches
I had like 8 sleeprs and that was def enough! Most of the time it was prob more than I needed but helpful when she had bad days of having to change.a lot.

DS - 8 weeks
DD1 - 6 weeks
DD2 - 8 weeks (but she's in the 14th percentile for weight and still wears some 0-3 month clothes at 7 months)

DS was 6lbs 15oz at birth and I had no newborn clothes. The 0-3 were so baggy on him I hated it. I bought 4 footie PJs in NB and he was in them for 5-6 weeks. He fit NB clothes that weren't footed for another week or two. He was actually in 0-3 the shortest! He blew right through to 3-6.

My boy was 8lb 7oz and he was in NB for about a month. I actually had to buy a bunch because he was swimming in the 0-3 and I expected him to be big since I was big and overdue.

He could fit into some newborn clothes up to 3 months. Others he outgrew earlier.

2 months for footed sleepers, but she'll be 4 mos this week and still wears NB onesies and pants. She's a stringbean, very long and lean! (born 6lbs2oz)

We skipped right over newborn. He was 23" and way too long for them. We tried to put him in a newborn sleeper to leave the hospital and he couldn't move his legs.

A is too tall for sleepers but can wear NB onesies and dresses just fine. She'll be 7 weeks tomorrow.

2 weeks. She was 22" at birth and they just got way too short really quickly.

3-4 months for both kids - a bit less for footed sleepers. They were both around 5.5 lbs at birth.
For some reason both have blown through 6-9 month size onesies - I wish we'd gone right from 3-6 to all 6-12.

Probably 2-3 weeks depending on the article of clothing and brand. He was 7lbs 12 oz at birth, and was up past birth weight a week after birth. I think he's just a pretty tall little guy. I stocked up on mainly 0-3 and 3-6 mo clothes, but he is now almost too big for most 3-6 mo clothes at just over 10 weeks so, you never know!! Ha.

My LOs were in newborn clothes for about 5-6 weeks. They were 5 lbs 13 oz and 6 lbs at birth.

He was a bigger baby but wore newborn for a few weeks. I didn't buy much because my dr kept talking about how big the baby was going to be. I ended up borrowing onesies from my nephew who is 3 months older than my son. That worked out nicely.
