I was hoping to stay stable, because I was a 36F pre-pregnancy. Unfortunately at 20 weeks they grew a mind of their own and went up 2 cup sizes, or 1 cup and 1 band size, so now I am wearing 38G nursing bras (which was the biggest that they carried in the specialty store without special ordering). I did find Cake lingerie, which has a few styles that go up to M (which makes me confident that I can get nice bras in whatever size I need after milk comes in)
@cvbee: I just went bra shopping over the weekend, and I was told to get nursing bras, because they naturally accomodate a larger variation of band/cup size.

@marriedandlovingit: LOL. exactly the same for us. It sucks. My husband loves it. I told him how my boobs are 1. bigger than his hand can hold and 2. bigger than a newborn baby!@MsMini: Oh my goodness! I will need to find that place soon!

@MsMini: That is good to know: I will check out our local bra store today!

I'm at 33 weeks right now & have gone from a 34a to a 36b. not a fan. so far my boobs are the only place I've gotten stretch marks & who knows if they are going to keep growing. I always, always thought I wanted bigger boobs, but since these have grown I'm with @yin - I want my smaller boobs back! these are a pain in the butt.

@pastemoo: If you go on cake lingerie's website, you can find retailers that sell the line near you, or you can gamble and buy online, but you would have to have a good grasp of their sizing (I found that they fit average, not small and not big).

I was a 34C and now I'm a large 36D. That happened during pregnancy this time and stayed basically the same during breastfeeding.

I went from a very average 34B to a 36DD/F. Yeah, the popular Coobie bra was not cutting it for me!

@winniebee: I went up 2 band sizes and "1 cup" size, which was actually 5 inches in real measurement--that was mid 2nd tri, and that was my main breastfeeding size for about a year. Went up another inch or so in cup size in 3rd tri and early newborn period (maybe 1 month?). After about a year of being I was back to by usual band and cup size! Weaning changed nothing.
Interesting seeing this since it's about the exact same this time around.

My boobs didn't change at all ... In hindsight, I now know it's an indicator of low glandular tissue. I had breastfeeding failure because of it.

Same thing happened to me. I was a 32C and went up to a 34D within the first 4 months. They didn't get any bigger until I gave birth and my milk came in. I hated how big they were while pregnant-not like they had any use yet!

I went from a 34C to a 36C while I was pregnant. Stayed a 36C while I nursed, and went down to a 32C after I weaned.

I started out at 36C and by the time I gave birth, I was a 40DD. After I weaned I settled down to 38D. I miss my smaller boobs!

Pre-pregnant I had already been on the cusp where it was hard to say whether a 34 or 36DD fit better. It switched to conclusively 36 and I needed a band extender in the 3rd tri. In early breastfeeding I just didn't wear real bras. Now, 9mos out, I'm back to the way things were pre-pregnant.

So far two bands. I went from 34 G on the third rung to 38 G on the middle rung. I probably should move up a cup too, but my favorite brand stops at G. There's no spillage though.

Mine barely changed, started at 34C. I maybe went up one band size due to my rib cage spreading, but never bought any new bras. I've only gone up about a cup size while nursing.
