Gallon organic whole milk: $5.99 (this is store-brand, homogenized, pasteurized; non-homogenized is sold $5/liter!)
Chicken: no idea, because we don't eat it

Just checked our fridge -
Milk 2% HALF gallon: $5.69
Chicken breasts boneless/skinless: $6.69/lb (and that was a "value pack")
Rarely buy bananas but if do it's from a fruit cart and usually priced 3 for $1. Not sure how that translates per lb.
