If I had not failed first year calculus, I would never have met dh. I ended up in the same class as his best friends and we met through them. At the time, I had never failed a course before and I remember being so upset. I was upset for years after!

If I had stayed at my first college, I would have never met my husband. I transfered to my second and started working at the local tv station. There, I met a friend. Two years later, I was in her wedding and so was my husband.

If my idiotic husband didn't accidentally hit reply to all on an email a common friend sent out, I wouldn't know he was in the same city as I did (because that's what he mentioned in the email). And if I didn't email back to say hi, life would be very different then

I would have NEVER met my husband if I did not get rejected from Syracuse University which was my top university choice!
I was bawling for days that I did not get in....funny how life works.

I wouldn't have met my husband were it not for Hurricane Katrina and Craigslist. We evacuated after the storm, and my apartment took on a lot of water. I was in a bad place emotionally, couldn't stand to be around my family right then, and had no apartment to go home to, so I ended up flying up to stay with a roommate's mother in Pennsylvania. I stayed there a month before answering an ad on Craigslist for a couple looking for a housemate in Philly. The guy in the couple ended up being DH's best friend since Junior High.
The guy is still one of our best friends, he sang at our wedding, and his fiancee was my MOH.
