Hey ladies! I hope everyone is doing well.
Do you worry about/limit what you eat during the holidays or get back on track at the beginning of the year?

I usually don't worry about it. I love cookies.
No updates here.

I try not to worry about it too much, and get as much exercise in as I can. That also helps with the holiday stress! Running is my escape from everything that's going on.
Updates: I had to take vagifem supplements this week, b/c my lining was too thin - they worked overnight (!), so we're happy about that. This is our first cycle on clomid, and we've got 2 very large follicles (yesterday they were 19 & 23). Trigger shot was last night (bless the DH for doing it), and tomorrow morning is IUI #2. I'm trying to be hopeful, but just feeling overwhelmed and really tired. I had early morning monitoring this week, which was tough with a full week of work. DH took a 1/2 day off work tomorrow, so he's taking me out for breakfast after our appointment, and then I get to work from home in the afternoon.
Here's hoping!!!

@SunshineMcC: Good luck!!
I try not to go too crazy with treats, but I pretty much eat what I want. This is my first holiday season being vegan, so I think naturally that will help me cut down. I've gained weight since the Summer though. (a few pounds.) I know I haven't been working out at all I definitely want to get back into it, after the new year of course. I'm sure being pregnant/not pregnant/pregnant/not pregnant, etc. has thrown my body for a bit of a loop. (At least I'm hoping I can blame a little bit on that!)
As for updates, nothing really. Still stuck in a holding pattern, as I still haven't gotten a post-mc AF. Some spotting in the last few days, so hopefully it's coming soon. I will start Puregon (Follistim) on CD 5.

@Mrs. Polish: Cookies are the best!
@SunshineMcC: Good luck with your IUI!
@TheSwissWifeStyle: I'm sorry you are in limbo, I hope AF shows up soon so you can get back on track
This is the first major holiday that I am on my low GI diet so that means I have to pay much more attention to what/when I am eating so it will be a little different than usual.
Update! I am pretty happy to actually have an update. My SO and I go on the 19th to see the new RE. I decided to switch after everything I have been through with the last place. I am looking forward to having them go over our results and help us put together a treatment plan

@SunshineMcC: good luck tomorrow!
@TheSwissWifeStyle: thinking of you. will they give you provera after a certain amount of time?
@mrswin: exciting! I really hope you like your new RE!
I don't like cookies, but I love carbs so I could eat an entire loaf of my moms cinnamon bread.
I had my third chemical last cycle but never went in for a beta, so my insurance won't cover RPL testing until I have a third loss "on paper". Sooo frustrating! I'm on CD5 & taking Clomid again this cycle. If it's necessary, we are considering an IUI for January...

@SunshineMcC: Good luck with your IUI!
@mrswin: I hope things go great with the new RE! Treatment plans are awesome
I'm not sure how my holiday eating will go this year - for some reason (magic? medication?) I haven't been eating as much as I usually do, and when I eat too much or eat things that I probably shouldn't, I pay for it with upset tummy. I'm thinking I'll just try to take it easy so I don't feel sick all holiday.
I'm currently in my first real 2ww in what feels like forever. I start progesterone tomorrow, progesterone draw on Monday.

I'll stick to my diet except on Christmas eve and Christmas day. Those days will be pretty much a free for all.
No real updates... part of me is kinda hoping I have O'd or will O. Haven't had much fertile CM but my cervix has been high and soft the last couple of days. I have no record of Oing on my own without Clomid, so it's probably wishful thinking anyway.
I'm going to call my RE today to ask them if the results to my Rubella blood test came back yet. I am thinking they should be back by now (it's been 2 weeks since I had the blood taken).

@Mrs. Polish: I love cookies too! I can't wait to do some baking in a couple of weeks!
@SunshineMcC: Good luck!!
@TheSwissWifeStyle: Being in limbo sucks, I know. I hope AF comes back soon!
@Mrs. Jump Rope: I am so aggravated for you that your last loss "doesn't count" because it wasn't "recorded". If I were you I would be yelling at my insurance people until they changed their minds... which might be futile, but I'd still do it. Good luck for this cycle.
@just_ju: Yay for the 2WW!

@pui: they hate me. I've already raised hell over the ovidrel. Still waiting to hear back from the attorney general..

@Mrs. Jump Rope: my last one doesn't count with the res I've talked to because it was negative ( 5.01) by the beta. Most of the time they just want me to do a full ivf with them. I am refusing until I get some tests done and they tell me if it worth investing. So I know how annoying it all is. My last re records are pretty well useless (no listing how how many eggs were retrieved or anything).
I'm going straight to a reproductive immunologist at this point. I ultimately want to surrogate so I need to know I can do that.
pomelo / 5228 posts
@brownie: I had a really hard time when searching for a Reproductive immunologist, but someone else pointed me to a Perionatologist who put me on Lovenox post-O. Have you had any autoimmune testing?
@Mrs. Jump Rope: Boo, I hate your insurance

I always try to keep the bad stuff out of the house as much as possible, but when I'm out, I don't limit anything. My nutso diet kindof takes care of it on its own though
Yea, I have a pretty big update...

@SunshineMcC: good luck!
@TheSwissWifeStyle: hugs! I hope AF is right around the corner
@mrswin: yay for a fresh set of eyes! Good luck!
@pui: your Rubella saga is insane! I hope you're finally immune!
@Mrs. Jump Rope: I'm so angry at your ins co for you I hope you get your sticky baby this cycle so you don't have to even worry about the RPL testing
I finally have an update! I started BCP last night in preparation for my IVF cycle in January. Although I just got a call from the RE saying that my CD 3 b/w is expired (thanks, lady, for reminding me how freaking long we've been trying!) so I have to skip the BCP tonight and go in for new CD 3 testing tomorrow morning.

@Shutterbug: @Mrs. Jump Rope: @PastaAndPotato: Thanks ladies! I'm only sharing it on here for now, considering my history. Calling the perio doctor as soon as they open (9am I think).
I'm nervous because of how abysmal my P tests came out this month. 11.2, 9.8, 6.7, 3 days in a row. I did put in a P suppository as soon as I confirmed with the FRER, per my ND's instructions. I'm either 12 or 13dpo today. I thought I saw something super duper faint on the wondfo yesterday morning, so I made sure to try again with FMU today. FRER was 1.5hrs later.

@Mrs.Someone: yes, hooray, alright, high fives, so happy for you!!!!!!!!!! Will you stick with your new doctor for now? This is a great update!
pomelo / 5228 posts
@MamaMoose: @Happygal: Thanks
Yep, I liked the Perio, so I will definitely stick with him. I don't think I'm high risk enough to deliver with him though. And I'll continue seeing my ND to keep my supplements straight. I have appointment with her on Tuesday anyway. Just taking this one step at a time really...
Also, tomorrow is the 1yr anniversary of confirming my first m/c I need to think positive of this timing...

@Mrs.Someone: AGGGGHHHHHHH!
That is just the most wonderfully fantastic news - it has completely made my day. (And, yes, I totally stalk you on here because it just seems like you have been through so much and have so much TTC stress - I have been wishing and hoping for some good news for you!)

@pui: Thank you
@septca: And you just made my morning, thank you! So sweet
Also, ladies please carry on with your updates, I didn't mean to hijack!

@Mrs.Someone: You should post on the December POAS thread - we could use some good news over there.
Also wanted to add, in case it is useful, that your picture completely mirrors my experience: For all the fuss over FRERs, Wondfos seem much more sensitive in the early days.
pomelo / 5228 posts
@spaniellove: Thanks
@septca: I've always trusted Wondfos, dispute everything I've heard! And I'm going to keep this off of the POAS thread. I just can't make a big deal of this yet...

@Mrs.Someone: There is one relatively locally (within 4 hours). It came up when I met with one RE that completely blew off all of my concerns and just wanted to cycle me. Um sorry, not going to blow 20K if we don't solve the problems. Grrrr I hate doctors.
pomelo / 5228 posts
@brownie: Good! I'm so glad you're taking control. It pisses me off when doctors brush over m/cs.
@justdarling: Thank you! I'm thinking Lovenox would be a great name, don't you?

@Mrs.Someone: YAYYYY!!!!!! This makes my day Everything crossed that this is your sticky

@Mrs.Someone: yeah i had one re believe me but he is 10k more expensive than most of the others and i just cant afford it.
pomelo / 5228 posts
@brownie: And you shouldn't have to cycle again without getting some answers. I'm sure you'll be in good hands with the immunologist. Let me know if you want any info on RPL testing. Insurance seems to have covered it all for me, with only 2 losses on the books (about $2000 was billed though). I was just put on Lovenox injections last week and completely credit this BFP to it.

@Mrs. Someone: Congrats! So happy for you! I recognize the PG test, but what's the other hcg one? Never seen that before!
pomelo / 5228 posts
@T.H.O.U.: Thanks
@SunshineMcC: The top one is a Wondfo. They are a little more sensitive than an FRER (in my opinion), and cost around $10 for 20 on Amazon. Same thing that doctors offices use. Saves a ton on HPTs

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I'm sorry your insurance is still being annoying. It really shouldn't be this hard. Your last loss totally should count.

Oh boy, let the rollercoaster begin. The perio isn't in today either, but I talked to the nurse. Generally they don't deal with pregnancies until a few weeks later, so they prefer I work with my ND for now (who isn't in the office today). I called her office and explained the situation to the receptionist. They ended up calling her and ordering the P test, yay. I feel bad for bugging her on her off day, but I know shes going to understand...
