For Memorial Day weekend, I'm working on Saturday. Then Sunday we are visiting my family, Monday I think we are hanging out with my MIL who is currently staying with us.
Updates, *** we have our ivf consult tomorrow! *** Going to see when we can start based on what we need to get done. I'm excited and terrified.

@MrsTal: SO exciting! Good luck!
My friends are visiting from Maryland this weekend with their 1 year old baby. My parents are also away in Bermuda (lucky them), so DH and I are staying at their house (6 miles from ours) and taking care of my sister who has Down Syndrome. My friends will stay in our house while they are here, so it will work out pretty well actually! One of my other friends is coming over on Sunday and bringing her 4 month old who I haven't seen in 2 months. I can't wait to see how much bigger he is!
No real updates here. Still just continuing with the Lupron injections and waiting for AF. I stopped BCP on Sunday. My next doctor's appointment is on 05/30 and I am supposed to start stims on 05/31.

@MrsTal: good luck tomorrow!
What are your plans for Memorial Day weekend? i live in a beach resort town, so trying to stay away from the influx of tourists is my primary goal. i'm going to a bbq at a friend's house on saturday that should be a great time, and other than that hoping to find a spot on the beach!
Updates? well, it's been a while, i went MIA after my missed m/c in december. we did another round of IVF with a FET in late april, and got a at the beginning of may (and, just to make things more nerve wracking, the first beta was only a 9.4, then a 151 four days later, and a 456 two days after that, so a ridiculously low start that freaked everyone out). i've been holding my breath until today, which is our first 6w ultrasound, so here's hoping that today goes well and this is our rainbow

We don't have plans for Memorial Day weekend since we are in Canada and had Victoria Day last weekend but we were still in Europe.
We have our IVF consult next Tuesday. I expect that we will discuss protocol at that time since all our testing is complete.
ETA: We had a wonderful time in Barcelona and Paris, it was so nice to get away but the jet lag is kicking my butt big time!

This weekend will be a pretty normal weekend for us. I thought we were both working on Monday, but we're off! Saturday we're going to a birthday party and Monday there is a special workout in honor of Memorial Day that DH wants to do. It's called a Hero WOD (Murph for those familiar with Crossfit).
Updates: tomorrow I'm going in for an ultrasound to check my lining. If it's nice and thick then the transfer will be scheduled for Wednesday!

No plans for the weekend. DH has tomorrow off too so it's an extra long weekend for him! Hopefully we'll get all the bathroom cabinet doors back (I just refinished them with rustoleum cabinet transformations) on and change the kitchen faucet. I have another monitoring appointment tomorrow (it'll be CD17) to see if my follicles are doing anything yet.

Bummer update: losing too much blood & they are having trouble stopping it. Last night in 2hrs I bled through an overnight pad, flannel pants and both layers of the bath towel folded under me. Going in now for them to check my crit, CBC & vitals, have to go back in the morning. I hate the nurse I have to go see, this morning when I called she said she wasn't at all concerned but if I felt strongly about it she would call & check in with the dr. Dr was very concerned & doesn't want me vertical unless I absolutely need to be. Of course I had just come back from the grocery store, I leaned on the cart the whole time 'cause I'm so weak & dizzy, but we had no food in the house. Blah. This sucks. On a brighter note: I love not having the balloon in me & I'm done with my antibiotics! Woohoo. Small victories, I'll take 'em!

@MrsTal: so exciting! GL tomorrow!
Nothing for this coming week. My only "update" is that my RE is wanting to discuss my u/s results and implement out 3m plan. So, we meet on the 3rd. Finally!
Oh yeah, we have for a 4-day trip on Friday. Excited, but is sick so that may make the trip less than relaxing. In fact. I'll call the ped and see if she can give us some antibiotics.
I got my gift exchange package and I'm chomping at the bits to open it
@owlteach: good luck today! Fx for no pain and positive news:))

@CupQuakeWalk: traveling with a sick LO is no fun, I'm sorry hope he feels better soon! Hopefully that'll be a nice distraction to keep you busy til your appt. I don't want to tell you how many times I've checked my mailbox... I'm kind of glad mine hasn't arrived yet, I lack self control & prob would have caved & opened it early
@Leialou: hoping Wednesday is your day! So excited for you!!!!
@mrswin: glad you had a nice trip! Good luck at your appt!

@Snowdrop: Thank you!
@Sunshine1810: That's not too far off at all! GL!
@Leialou: Woohoo! I hope your lining checks out great so you can transfer Thursday.
@mrswin: Your trip sounds like it was lovely! How long did it take you to get your pre-IVF testing done? And when will you be starting the process?
@PurplePumps: I hope your appointment goes well tomorrow.
@mrs. bird: I'm so sorry you are having such a rough time. I hope you get to feeling better soon and your bleed lets up or stops altogether.
@owlteach: I hope this gets you some answers!
@CupQuakeWalk: Oh no! I hope that LO gets to feeling better before your trip!

@MrsTal: Well I switched to this RE earlier this year and they re-did all of the basic blood testing (CD3, AMH, STD's, etc) as well as an antra-follicle count and SA at that time. The only additional testing I have had in preparation for IVF is an SHG which I had done before I went away since it needs to be done between CD5 and CD10. Depending on the protocol they recommend I will likely be cycling in July or August.

@MrsTal: yay for IVF consult! hope it goes as you want it to!
@PastaAndPotato: hope that first ultrasound is beautiful, congrats!
@mrswin: Barcelona and Paris sound amazing!!
@Leialou: yay for possible transfer this week!
@mrs. bird: I'm sorry this has been so tough - I'm glad you have some little positives in there!
@owlteach: good luck with the lap!
I'm still hanging out here because this board is my favorite :happy:. My update is that we had our early ultrasound yesterday and were thrilled to see a tiny 6w embryo with a teeny heartbeat . . . the dr said she would have been happy just to see a sac. I cried of course. Right now I am sitting here while the movers work and earlier I took the plunge and made an OB appt for 8w (since it doesn't make sense to see an RE after the move).

@bhbee: wahoo, congrats!
The dr found mild endo, and a lot of scar tissue from a previous surgery. Both of my ovaries were stuck to the back of my pelvic wall so there was very little chance of my eggs making it to the fallopian tubes.
He was able to remove some of the endo and a lot of the scar tissue, freeing my ovaries so I am feeling very optimistic about our chances of getting pregnant!

@bhbee: that is a wonderful update!!!! i'm so happy for you. good luck with your move!
@owlteach: sounds like a very successful surgery! wishing you a speedy, uneventful, recovery!
@MrsTal: thanks!!

@owlteach: I am so glad your surgery went well. How are you feeling about the results? I had similar results - the surgery showed that all my previous months of TTC were a big fat waste of time. I had a lot of anger after that, luckily did get KU pretty quickly. I am just sharing this in case you are having trouble coming to terms with your diagnosis - I think it's really normal to have some anger in your situation. ((hugs)) and here's hoping your surgical success shows up as a BFP!

@mrstal: working on Sat. doesn't sound fun, but the rest of the weekend sounds great! Oh, so excited to hear about your IVF consult!
@Sunshine1810: Ah, family time. How old is your sister? How's the Lupron treating you?
@pastaandpotato: congrats!!!! I was wondering where you went to! That's so exciting. How is your home--are you all settled in? I remember a picture of it on stilts.
@MrsWin: can you tell me the highlights of your trip? Like, top 3 moments? I must live vicariously through your European adventure.
@Leialou: good luck tomorrow! What is the goal for your lining? (After having issues myself, I'm a bit obsessed with lining #s.)
@PurplePumps: Grown-ups weekends--getting bathroom cabinet doors. We're going to clean. Things have changed! Good luck tomorrow.
@Mrs. Bird: oh no! I'm so sorry it's been a rough time. This means things can only get better. Take care of yourself and take it easy as much as you can.
@owlteach: how did things go? Any report? Thinking of you.
@Cupquakewalk: how did you get your new usename? Where will you travel to for your trip?
@BhBee: Yeah! I'm glad you have an appt. set and that you saw that teeny heartbeat. How's moving stuff going?
@owlteach: whoops! Saw your update. That is great news! Did they show you pictures? I know lap isn't the solution for everyone, but I did get pregnant the first medicated cycle after my surgery. Of course, I can't say that's what did it for me, but I like to think that surgery was worth it. How are you feeling?

This is also my favorite HB spot. Hope you don't mind me still popping in here from time to time!
I'm feeling fine. It's now been 1 week since I saw the BFP, but it feels like so much has happened since then! Ultrasound is scheduled for 6/4.

@Happygal: My mom and husband saw the pictures, and I will get to see them in two weeks when I go back in for my follow up appointment.
It feels so good to have answers and know that I'm not just crazy.
@septca: If I am angry or upset, it is with the original doctor. She was the one that did the last surgery. I do understand that the chance of scar tissue is much more likely when they cut you all the way open and they literally remove your ovaries from the abdominal cavity to operate on them. But, I kept telling her that something was wrong, and I really don't feel like she believed me. She kept reassuring me that the likelihood of the previous surgery impacting my fertility was VERY small. I was right, and I was once again reassured that when it comes to my health, I have a pretty accurate "gut"
