I hear you girl! Yesterday I got "wooooaahhh you're gonna pop" and I said I sure hope not, I'm only 34 weeks! And she just started laughing? I started practicing my slow breaths and walked away.

I really liked this last year, it made me smile!

May will be here before you know it! I try to remind myself that people are uaually clueles but well-intentioned, not malicious, when they say dumb stuff like that.:

@bpcmarj: bahahaha I just laughed far too loudly at my desk because of that one!! Now I can't get that song out of my head!

@JoJoGirl: only 10 days until you can say "next month"! I'm a notorious rounder-upper (or downer, if it works in my favor, haha) so 3 weeks 6 days is "only 3 weeks!" Say it in whatever way sounds the shortest! And HB has taught me to talk to pregnant women about the weather, and nothing else LOL

Aw, yeah I hated this. I also hated when, without asking when I was due and simply eyeballing my stomach, they'd say, "any day now, huh?!" ... When I was 6 months along.

@JoJoGirl: First, you're so close! Secondly, people are silly. And finally, gosh I miss NSYNC! Is it just me or was that video completely nonsensical?

Just ignore everyone. People say things like that to me all the time "August is ages away, why are you looking for names/buying a crib/finding out gender/wearing maternity clothes?" Um...I'm nearly 21 weeks. Over halfway there...

Awesome news about the growth spurt! I frequent a healthy fast food joint near work where I am obsessed with their falafel hummus salad platter. The youngish (19? 20?) woman who works there always comments about my beverage choice (once I got a diet coke and another time a black peach tea--she keeps trying to get me to get their decaf green tea). I went in the other day after not being in for a few weeks, and she looks at me and was like "YOU HAVEN'T HAD THE BABY YET!?" I was like no...if I had had the baby by now, I wouldn't be here, would be in the NICU." Ok, so I didn't say that, but I thought it--such a rude thing to say, and it DID freak me out thinking about how scary it would be if baby did come so early. I know I am just being sensitive and she is just making conversation, but I am totally with you on how annoying people can be able saying how long we have to go! Blah!!
