I'm 5'9". My husband is just a tad shorter than me and it's really not bad in any way! I did get annoyed when our wedding photographer kept on trying to find ways to make him look taller than me, it doesn't bother us!
As for pants, I was just complaining about that on the POAS thread a couple of days ago...

I'm 5'1 and I would like to be 5'4... Merely to fit into clothes a little better and not have to hem or roll ALL my pants.

I'm 5'5" and like my height. I just wish my body was a little more proportional - I have a really long torso and fairly short legs. Regular tops always feel short but talls seem too long and I often have to buy short pants.

I voted 5'7" - it just seems easier for clothes and would be nice to be a bit taller. I always feel so short. (I'm 5'4")

My ideal would be 5'7" that way I would be tall, but not remarkably tall and still be able to wear regular clothes. Im only 5'2".

Im 5'9 and generally happy with it. The only times I wish I was shorter is on airplanes because I have no legroom, or when I want to wear high heels and not tower over people ( although as I get older, I'm finding more and more I either don't want to wear heels because OUCH, or don't care care if I'm a giant )

I'm 5'10 and I love it. Taller than DH but I don't buy into that women should be shorter. BS.
