Yep, did it and found out gender by 13 weeks

I did, though it took me until about 15 weeks to find out the sex, as I had to redo the test & was on vacation when they called to tell me that!

yes, I found out at 11 weeks! I felt weird telling people so early that we already knew we were having a boy!

We actually did IVF w/PGD so we could have known before he was even transferred! Which is insane. But we asked them not to tell.

We got the Verifi test done as well and we opened the envelope with the Verifi results at the time of our NT scan.
Unless you're TG, go for it! It's so much fun knowing that early!

Absolutely! I coudn't wait to find out and did it with both pregnancies. No interest in team green over here .

@Periwinkle: You can indicate for them to test for it, but ask not to be told. That way the info is there if you change your mind.

We found out the sex, and requested to find out the sex. Keep in mind that some of the things they are looking for are sex chromosome abnormalities and thus if your bloodwork comes back with a "result", your doctor may tell you by telling you what the pattern is indicating. In our case, we had a pattern that indicated we were high risk for trisomy X (triple X syndrome). So, there would have been no way to avoid telling us she was a girl without omitting the results all together.

@delight: The exact same thing happened to us. It was a pretty crappy way to find out she was a girl!

Thankfully in our case it was either a false positive, picking up a chromosomal abnormality that I personally have, or she just has a mild mosaicism bc she was born totally healthy and no signs of Turner Syndrome.

Yep, we found out the gender during the Verifi test. The genetic counselor told me over the phone. Her response was "I see a lot of Y chromosomes." It was confirmed during the 20 week ultrasound.

I did the Panorama--blood drawn at 11w, found out at 12w when I came back for the NT; they told us the gender only after they did the NT scan and confirmed all our chromosomal stuff was normal, which I appreciated. I really loved finding out this early, and we thought it was fun to be able to tell our friends and family about the pregnancy and the sex at the same time. I had my 16-wk anatomy scan today and confirmed that it's definitely still a boy the doctor told us that .05% of Panoramas get the gender wrong, so, 1/200 women. I kind of gaped and was like "really?!" and he insisted they did see it from time to time.

@LCTBQE: Wow, on Panorama's website their posted numbers are that they essentially get none wrong. Of course the numbers in their clinical data are small and I figured they weren't statistically significant. They say they have great than 99.9% accuracy. Their breakdown is 469 of 469 males were correct, and 533 of 533 females were correct.

Also - I had MaterniT21 with my first and the results came back good, 1:40,000 chance for Down's. During my NT the doctor thought the measurement of the neck was questionable, but said it wasn't worth pursuing given the MT21 results.

@ShootingStar: They will be testing for it but we opted not to find out now. Which is so hard when you're kind of on the fence like we have been, to know that we *could* know if we wanted to! Ughhhhhhh

@pregnantbee: If we had chosen to find out through this test, the only option provided was to find out by phone, which just had no appeal to me whatsoever. I was envisioning myself sitting at work, having a stressful day, and someone calling me with results and then just finding out there on the spot by myself which would have made me sad. If it could have been sent electronically I might have been swayed...

@pregnantbee: That's a possibility, although at this point I think we have decided to sit tight and let the unknown carry on for a bit longer (or possibly a lot longer!).
