2nd and 3rd, as I want three kids, but we've agreed to stop at 2. If my next pregnancy becomes multile then I get my way! We already have our dd , so whatever happens next is it for us.

I'm a ftm of twins and that's nice because twins are all I've ever known. So things are really hard, but I don't actually know if it's that much harder than a singleton because I have nothing to compare it to. If I'd had a singleton first, I think it'd be a much harder transition! Not to mention dealing with twins and an older sibling!

On the other hand, I wonder if some of the issues we had with BFing and sleep would have been easier if I was a second time mom and knew what to expect!

I think first. Like @twodoghouse: said it would be all I ever knew. And we can handle two with our lifestyle (condo, car, etc). And you can take it easier with your first pregnancy.

Having a toddler and then going through that adjustment sounds even harder.

I would want the first and second. I'm two years into infertility and I'm praying to eventually have two. SO, it would be amazing. Three would financially be hard for us because we live in a city where you have to send to private school

First! Having a newborn was SO HARD for me...it will be hard to prepare for that again someday, and it would be even harder if I knew it'd be double the fun. Ha! Kudos to all the mamas of multiples!!!!!

Definitely first! Adjusting to two right off the bat would be better because of what @twodoghouse: said. We are trying for a second and it would be tough to have two PLUS a toddler. Plus it throws a wrench into daycare and work plans...having to pay for daycare for 3 kids and would it even be feasible to continue to work.

I think first - I've actually talked to my husband about this. Because everybody says that going from 1 to 2 is so much harder than 0 to 1, so imagine going from 1 to 3 - having to deal with the stresses of two newborns PLUS a toddler! Also I have an acquaintance with twins and I once said to her "I can't imagine having two at once!" and she said "I can't imagine having only one!" Getting used to having a new baby is a huge adjustment and I think that the differences with two would be mostly logistical, the 'change of lifestyle' shock, which I had a harder time with, is probably pretty similar.

In the beginning I Definitely would havr preferred twins first. But now that it is the way it is and most of the crazy newborn days are over (thank God) I wouldnt change it if offered. We are so completely done with kids. It also squashed the debate of 2 or 3 kids

My brother and his wife just found out that their second child is actually twins. They are in shock!

I'd prefer my second pregnancy to be twins. With a singleton first baby, at least for me, I've been able to just soak it up and enjoy it (I also love the newborn and infant stages though). I figure with twins as a second pregnancy, things would be pretty crazy whether I was having one more or two more. Plus, then I'd get to have three kids instead of our agreed upon 2. I'm secretly hoping for twins next time around, and they do run in my family.

We have two sets of friends that decided to try for number 4 and had twins for numbers 4&5!!! Yikes!

I was super nervous about this because we had secondary infertility and had to seek treatment. We did clomid and had 3 mature follicles but sighed a huge sigh of relief when we saw 1 gestational sac. We were one cycle away from starting IVF at a clinic that only transfers 2
embryos (it was a clinical trial) and DH was hyperventilating.

I would really like twins next.....they'd be my third and fourth.

This is only really because I want 4 kids and DH is in the "3 with the possibility of 4" camp. This way, he couldn't say no to 4! Lol!!

Also, I'm not getting any younger. It'd be nice to be done after my next (hopeful) pregnancy.
