Furnace! I can try to get by with windows open and fans, but I hate being cold.

We would literally die with no furnace. We have AC and never turn it on.

We don't have A/C now, so it's an easy choice for me! There are probably 2-3 days per year where it would be nice to have, but for the most part fans do us just fine. The furnace is a necessity, though.

I didn't have AC until I moved for college - you couldn't survive here without a furnace or some sort of heat.

It only gets really hot a couple of days a year here. The rest of the time a fan is all I need.
But I HATE being cold. I need a furnace!

A/C! Our furnace didn't work over the winter and we really didn't even notice much of a difference. But we have no A/C and I hate it. Our house gets so hot. We live in CA.
