We have the Foonf in my car. I love it, but it is a BEAST. But D seems pretty happy in it cuz he can see out the window. And we drove 10+ hours out to Michigan and (and then back) and he seemed comfortable.
In Hubs's car we have a Graco MyRide 65, and that one is great, too. But it doesn't sit as high and I don't think he can see out the window yet.

We have a crv and have the radian RF in the middle seat! We also bought the angle adjuster to allow for more leg room for the front seat people. I LOVE it....so easy to get her in and out (LO is 14 months, 23 lbs) and I love how you can fit 3 across and the fact that we got a purple one. Lol.

@Foodnerd81: nope not at all! Because it's not "real" leather, lol. Just looks like it! And it's only the trim--the rest of it is a super breathable jersey like fabric that is super cushion-y.

@californiadreams: I just saw your reply. DH is usually the researcher, but he feels like I know more, so I've been appointed in his place -- which means I have to do way more research than I bargained for.
Thanks for your input on the Foonf. We still haven't decided!

@tinyperson: haha, i was just scrolling down and saw you replied to this thread and was like "oh, she made a decision!" ...... nope.

@tinyperson: We also have the Peg and love it. We have the NextFit in my husbands car and he's constantly making cracks about trading seats with my car because both he and our daughter dislike that one so much.
Ditto to everything @hilsy85: said. The Peg looks really nice and is comfy for my daughter. I especially like the fact that it has low sides so it's easy to get her in and out. Plus, the leatherette material is easy to wipe down if it gets dirty. My LO is 17 months and is tall, and she still has plenty of room to grow (rear-facing) in that seat.

@SLR: thanks! I might be leaning that way just because of size - but still not sure (and DH isn't ready to commit).

@californiadreams: We've decided finally! I think we're going with Peg, getting a Guide 65 as a grandparents carseat/flying seat and storing it at my mom and dad's. At least I don't have to go through this research again for quite a while!

@hilsy85: @SLR: @tinyperson: I'm excited to see this thread! I totally loved the Peg before LO was born and almost went with it from birth. She's small and skinny, so I'm hopeful that when we do switch her, she will be able to stay in it for a long time!

@LovelyPlum: I think the seat is going to expire before she grows out of it

@hilsy85: I have it too and love it for all the reasons you listed.
We will also be getting a PP infant seat for lo#2, not that we didn't love the Britax infant seat.
Eta: we did go back and fourth between the CF and the PP. I never considered the radian because it just looks gigantic and heavy (I don't know this because I never saw one in RL).

@tinyperson: yay! what color choices do you have? And does this mean that S has been in her infant bucket seat all this time?

@californiadreams: Yep, she's been in her bucket seat all this time - and still has room in it.
I was kidding about colours (we have to choose one, but I think I can handle the decision)! We'll probably go with black or grey or something boring
