Do yours have your actual name or do they say Mom and Dad? I can't decide!

@yellowbird: I wondered this too!! I just ordered ours about month ago and we got Mom, Mommy, and Cooper (DS's name ... should he ever decide to arrive ;)).

Ours have actual name. I bought them after we were parents but I still liked it better that way.

Right now we're using the ones we bought when we were engaged, and she's using the one that was daddys. After we have #2, hopefully before next Christmas.... I want to get a matching set of 4 for us. I'm leaning towards mom, dad and our kids names on them. I don't think we're traditional enough for monograms. I may end up buying us Geek themed stockings next year, lol.

Ours just arrived last week. I went with our first names since stockings are a Santa thing and Santa doesn't know me by mom. I've seen them both ways and either way works well.

Actual names!! Im more than just "mom"
plus, my parents had their names on their stocking and my siblings and i got a kick out of calling them by their actual names when their stockings were hung

@yellowbird:Ours have our names, only because we bought them before we had LO. Plus it helps Santa know exactly who is who. There are a lot of mommies and daddies in the world. LOL

I am waffling on names vs mom and dad too! I vote medium for the pb stockings though. A friend did medium and they are a pretty standard size. It's also the same size as the specialty ones pb does when they don't come in various sizes.

Ours have our names...Mainly bc we got them before we had kids and then just added theirs each year:) If I was ordering them as a family, I would probably do them as "Mama" and "Daddy."

I think I will do our real names. I agree with @petunia354: I'm more than "mom". And I'm thinking far ahead to when the kids move out, and it's back to DH and I.

I put mom and dad because our stockings are a family thing and we don't do Santa so there's no worry of confusing him. Lol.

Ours have our names but growing up my parents stockings said Mommy and Daddy. They still hang them!
