Because I totally did today! (saw a Bee, but didn't say hi)
I didn't introduce myself because I wasn't 100% sure it was her (I came home and looked at her latest post again, and it was!) and even if I had been sure, I wouldn't have wanted to put her on the spot and make her feel uncomfortable.
What would you have done?

Ya I would. But I'm not totally sure I would recognize a fellow hellobee-er so I might keep questioning myself until it was too late.

@Mrs. Champagne: We were both with our LOs but there were lots of other moms around. I also thought it might be weird if I said to her "Hey, you're Mrs. ___ aren't you?" and the other moms overheard and were like, "What?!!"
I feel kind of creepy even writing about it now but I'm not a creepy person (or at least I don't think so lol)!

I actually ran into a WeddingBee blogger one time in my town. I knew she lived here and saw her. I approached and introduced myself - and I felt like a total crazy stalker... but it was so cool! Haha, my husband still doesn't let me live it down, me and my crazy internet friends :o)

oddly i never get recognized but the bees do!

Maybe, there aren't too many WI bees though so I think the odds are slim:)
I did see a picture of a bee on Pinterest and recognised her right away (there are a couple of bees who I see all the time there) and asked her if it was her- so kind of the same, lol

I would be SO excited if someone recognized me.
On the other hand, I'm really shy IRL, so I probably would chicken out if I saw someone IRL who I only knew online.

I would but I'd have to be 100% sure it was them. I have problems remembering faces so I don't know if I'd have the confidence to know "that is def her!"

It depends on who it was but honestly I probably would see them and think they looked familiar but not be sure who it was.

@littlek: It's possible. It was a baby activity we go to on a weekly basis but I had never seen her there before today.

I just told DH and he thinks I'm a weirdo for recognizing someone from online.

I would TOTALLY say hi! But then again.... I strike up conversations with complete strangers on a regular basis. It makes my husband crazy... he doesn't even like to talk to people he knows!

Probably not! I saw John, Sherry, and Clara from Young House Love out shopping a couple years ago and totally freaked out! I wanted to say hi, but was too embarrassed and didn't want to interrupt their family time. Looking back though, I totally should have.

I think I would! A few years ago I recognized one of my wedding photographers other clients from her website. The other couple was at my husbands work Christmas party and I said Hi!
