If you were overdue with your pregnancy, how late were you, and did you do anything to help it along?
I am a week late today and growing antsy!!

4 days late but I think I went into labor because I tripped and kicked the couch so hard my pinky toe got all messed up and my water broke. But did not go into labor immediately, I needed pitocin.
Hope baby comes soon for u!

I'm one of those jerks who went early, sorry.... but I walked and walked and walked and walked my last couple weeks.

6 days late and I was induced. We tried E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! We did Evening Primrose Oil, spicy foods, Eggplant Parmesan, horribly awkward sex, Red Raspberry Leaf Tea..... nothing worked for me with her. With DS (second baby) my water broke on its own at 37 weeks 1 day, go figure. I hope you get to meet your LO super duper soon (like tomorrow:) )

I was 11 days late with my first and just {miserably} waited it out.
My second was only 3.5 hours late.

10 weeks. I walked, got membrane swept twice and nothing. I finally went out and weeded my garden and bam...it started!

My first was 10 days "late", my second came on his due date and my third was 11 LONG days late. I kinda hoped that since my second came "on time" that I wouldn't go over ... guess it doesn't work like that LOL

I was 9 days late with my daughter and reluctantly agreed to an induction because the OB was scared about how big she was (She ended up being 9lbs 9oz). I was also miserable with full body hives and mentally about to lose it.
Then I was 6 days late with my son and went into labor on my own. My midwives were as involved as they needed to be, but were confident in my ability to go into labor on my own. One of them said "Maybe you just grow babies large and to 41 weeks!" Lucky me. I was scheduled for a NST the day after I gave birth; so thankful I didn't need it!
With both we did EPO, Red Raspberry Leaf Tea, dates, walking steep hills. Nothing really seemed to get things going though.
Still super miserable to be late, sorry!

9 days late. Tried everything. Long walks, sex, raspberry leaf tea, bouncing on the yoga ball, spicy food, etc. Eventually my water broke (more like leaked) at 7 days and I never went into labor. Got pit and progressed to 10 within 10 hours.
I was soooo frustrated being so late, especially because everyone kept asking me where the baby was! I wish I could visit former pregnant me and tell me to try to relax, eat some ice cream, take some naps and watch bad TV!

I was induced at 10 days late. Tried walking/keeping active, sex, spicy food, cervical exams, etc. Baby wasn't budging.

Because my EDD was screwed up in the beginning and it wasn't discovered until way late in the game, I didn't have an official EDD at the end of my first pregnancy. But when he came, it was all by himself and he was definitely a 41+ weeker. But "overdue" can be different for everyone and every baby, so for all I know, he was 43 weeks.

my water broke ten minutes after trying out my breast pump as a means to get labor going...

I was just a day early but it was August and I was so hot and wanted baby out! I had a stretch and sweep the day before, bounced a lot on my exercise ball and ate a whole pineapple. Not sure which one did the trick!

My midwife swears by sex, because semen contains prostaglandins in it which ripen your cervix. It was so unappealing but it worked... my water broke at 39 weeks and my cervix was really favorable as of 38 weeks.

12 days and I went into labor naturally. I did have 2 sweeps, walked a ton, bounced on a ball, and had sex. Who knows if any of that worked!!!

I was 5 days late. I was walking my ass off, had awkward pregnant sex with my DH, ate spicy food, and had my membranes swept.
Went into labor about 10 hours after membranes were swept (and an induction had been scheduled for that morning, but I beat it!)

I was induced at 40+6. Tried a variety of natural options but nothing worked. The induction went really smoothly and I was able to deliver vaginally though!
Good luck waiting--i remember being soo impatient!
