It's 4:50 am EST - I've been up since 4, awake 3-4 other times tonight so far.
I was normally a pretty good sleeper (but a bear when I didn't sleep well) pre-pregnancy. I am about to hit 32 weeks pregnant with my little boys and the insomnia is really killing me. I'm not really evil like I used to be during the day after a bad night's sleep, but I'm pretty useless and nap frequently throughout the day after a bad night. Plus, the painful boobs I'm experiencing right now doesn't help the comfort level that I'm at (which is near zero anyway in bed).
How come I can get comfortable enough to sleep during the day but can't figure it out at night?
More importantly, what did you ladies do to aid in your sleeping towards the end of your pregnancy? Or am I doomed to not sleep well again for the next 2-3 years of my life? /end dramatic tone here lol
I just had to become ok with getting my sleep throughout the day too and not stressing out about not sleeping well at night. And a lot of times just the change of position to the couch, or the fat/protein from the glass of milk would be enough to help me get back to sleep.
