@mrsjyw: I did 3 sets of 3 pushes too! Second time labor is definitely so much faster! I couldn't go med-free like you though! You go mama! I got the epidural when I was 10 cm dilated and I was dying!!

@dolphin: haha I was begging for an epidural at 10cm, I even asked my midwife if we could lie to the anesthetist... she said no!!
luckily baby was born a few minutes later. @travelgirl1: congrats again! I'm so happy he is finally here!!

Congratulations to all of the July mamas! I've been a bit consumed with trying to have the most successful breastfeeding experience this time around so I haven't been online as much. But I've been checking in to see how everyone is doing!

RCS this morning and baby girl H is here and beautiful! 7lbs 14 ounces and 19.5 inches. She is so different from DD1 even in the first 12 hours. So funny that they are so different already. Lots of pain for me but she is doing great so far. We shall see how the next 12 go

I had my baby today! She was five days overdue. I went into labor around 8 last night and delivered at 7:41 this morning. I was able to water birth and awesomely she was born en caul, which was really cool. I feel like I've been hit by a truck, but I'm just so thankful to have gone into labor on my own and to have done it naturally. Thankfully it went quickly!

It's a boy!!! Declan was born yesterday evening. I was scheduled to be induced at 41+2 but contractions started while we were waiting for the call to go intothe hospital. Things were looking good until baby got stuck on my pelvic bone. We tried a vacuum but our stubborn baby wouldn't move so we ended up with a C section. Lot's of recovery to do but so in love with our little boy.
