@Reese: lol, yeah. I agree about being worried about rising popularity, but oh well. I think we're good

@TheSwissWifeStyle: Have you thought of any NN options? I kind of like that it doesn't have easily formulated NN options because I love it as a full name.

@Mrs. Pickles: I asked my dr if there was anything I could do to prevent it this time and she said not really. So im just trying to keep my weight gain in check. And once its nice outside again, I plan to start walking a few evenings a week.

Just got back from my anatomy scan.....everything looks good! Whew! Baby had one of her hands over her face the whole time so I didn't get a good look at her profile though. Also got my second trimester blood test results back and those are good too! Yay! What a good way to end the week!
In other news, my DD (who was a 30 weeker) just graduated from preemie clinic yesterday! She's now two and totally on track and normal and simply perfect in every way.

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone, sorry for going MIA! The spotting stopped after taking it easy and my dr. says there isn't anything to worry about. I'm sure she's right but I can't wait to have my u/s on Wednesday and see this kiddo! DH is convinced it'll be another girl.
@Mrshanks: Welcome and congrats! How amazing for you and your DH.
@Ginabean3: Congrats on the u/s and your DD! That's so wonderful. What a strong babe she must be.

Ugh, doc prescribed me diclegis. After 18w (today!!) I just can't take the nausea anymore. I'm a super big baby about taking medication (I really don't want to) so I'm a bit nervous! Fingers crossed that it works for me!!!

We had our gender reveal date night with the cake last night! Baby is......A GIRL! We are both thrilled to death. It was a really fun way to find out because we Skyped with our families while we cut the cake and it was really exciting and cute.

@simplyfelicity: it's weird how people think personal space rules don't apply when you're pregnant!!!
What did you do?!

Hi everyone! Lo scratched my eye really badly with a broom last week and my usual time pass of hello bee is difficult with one eye haha. I'm supposed to be able to uncover it by the end of this week j hope. What a disaster! Also I look crazy.
But just wanted to check in and say congrats for all the good anatomy scans! Hope everyone and their babies are doing well!
And that @Reese: I'm thinking of you
@angelachase: pic of the cake?! Congrats lady!@TheSwissWifeStyle: love it!
@cait: so glad the bleeding stopped! Phew
@Ginabean3: yay for a great scan!

@simplyfelicity: also yes this happens to me all the time and is really annoying. Especially when people are like, oh yes you are carrying wide like a girl I mean wtf
@QBbride: I went to go check out your glider yesterday and it is sooooo lovely. Maybe if I hint enoughy DH will buy it for an early bday present hahahaha
pomegranate / 3192 posts
@fuzzypeaches: ahh we love our glider! We have the white microsuade (sp?) with dark wood legs and it's surprisingly easy to keep clean. Our old nursery was small so we needed a chair with a small footprint. We still use it everyday!
Some stores offer 10% back on purchases, which would make it a little better!!
I also love a PBK chair and suggested to DH we get one in our room since baby will be with us for awhile but he's not going for it!
pomegranate / 3521 posts
@angelachase: Congratulations!!
@QBbride: Have you attached a picture? details? We just put the dresser in the nursery and realized its pretty huge... we definitely need a glider with a small footprint.
pomegranate / 3192 posts
@Reese: I had a photo in a different thread. This is the one we bought for DS's nursery a few years ago. It is so comfy! I still love it.

@fuzzypeaches: Someone said that to you? What the actually heck?
@Ginabean3: I just played it cool but was thinking " oh, wow you just did that..."
pomegranate / 3521 posts
@QBbride: SWOON!!! Yes.. How could I forget that gorgeous piece of art. I wish it wasn't out of our glider budget
clementine / 950 posts
@QBbride: I love it! I saw it in the grey and was smitten haha. I went to pbk too but the monte was my fave!
@simplyfelicity: omg I know right? It's actually happened several times (Indian culture problems hahaha) it's actually true unfortunately but I feel like smacking everyone!
@Reese: did you check out the BRU gliders? There's one there that has the same vibe and is small (I think it's shermag luca) it's not as smooth but it's half the price that's the one Dh is trying to get me to compromise on lol.
pomegranate / 3192 posts
@Reese: @fuzzypeaches: haha I really didn't want to compromise and DH knew I would be spending the majority of my time nursing in that chair!! So luckily he agreed. Even if I was home during the day I always went upstairs to feed him in the chair, so we've got a ton of use out of it!
pomegranate / 3521 posts
@fuzzypeaches: I found this one. I need to go test it out. After putting the crib and dresser in there the room feels so much smaller. I feel like an glider is going to make it look cluttered. Maybe I need rearrange the furniture.
I saw the BRU one but I also found this one. I like that it reclines as well.. Not sure how well cream would hold up but it comes in grey too. I also found it on sale elsewhere for $300

@simplyfelicity: Eeek, no!!! I haven't had as many tummy touchers this time around, and I think its because I walk around like a crazy person protectively clutching a jacket around my belly. Complete with resting bitch face
@angelachase: Congratulations!!! Lots more girls popping up in here!
@QBbride: Ooh, that rocker is beautiful!
@ValentineMommy: Diclegis has seriously been a wonder drug for me. I'm still on it at almost 23 weeks, and I feel so much better with it. I hope it helps you as well!

I've been lurking til after our high risk appointment, but we met with the neonatologist on Thursday and had our in depth ultrasound, and baby girl looks perfect! No heart arrythmia, and her weight jumped from 12th percentile to 37th percentile, so things are looking good
They officially dismissed me as a high risk patient.

@pearl: yay!! I'm soo happy you got good news at your high risk appointment! Congrats on your perfect girl!

@cait: @pearl: @Ginabean3: so glad to see your getting good news!!!
@angelachase: congrats!
@fuzzypeaches: eek, kids I thought I was the only one with crazy kid-induced injuries... B has accidentally head-butted my teeth way too many times. Hope you feel better soon!
pomelo / 5791 posts
Thanks ladies! The Diclegis seems to have done the trick! While it does make me a little sleepy still, it 100% takes the nausea away. It's great I can eat again!!!!!
@angelachase: Congratulations!!
@pearl: yay! that's great news!
