My first trimester screening results appeared in my patient portal around 5:30pm yesterday, after my midwives' office closed for the weekend. The screening came back negative for Trisomy 21 (1:550) and Trisomy 18 (1:1100). However, my PAPP-A levels are very low at .26 MoM. I made the very poor choice to Google low PAPP-A, which returned lots of horrible statistical correlations with second trimester miscarriage, stillbirth, IUGR, and preeclampsia.
Does anyone have personal experience with low PAPP-A? Did you have any additional tests or scans? Were there any complications with your pregnancy?
My husband threatened to shut off my internet for the next six months.
