Eeek! Last night was surreal seeing our first march baby! Can't wait to see more

@yellowbird: yay, thanks for starting this!! So happy to see baby H. Looking forward to watching (and posting on!!!) this thread.

I can't update from my phone but very excited to have LazB added to this list with her sweet baby girl. I wonder who else will go early.

HAHA we haven't been very good about updating, but I'm so happy to see all the babies born!

Such a cuddly guy! Glad it all worked out well and you have been feeling better.

We do have two threads! Haha here is what I wrote on the other one, just so we have it in one place.
Short version: L was born Saturday 2/7 at 8:45 am. I was 36w3d, but my water broke and she was ready to come out!
Longer version: Monday, 2/2, I had my last progesterone shot. The nurse said that It usually lasts about 9 days in the system, so I shouldn't have the baby before the next Wednesday. Joke was on us! On Tuesday I lost my mucus plug. This could mean something or nothing, but given my history of early labor, I thought it was a sign of things to come. Wednesday I had my bloody show. This was when I started getting antsy. Again, it doesn't necessarily mean labor is imminent, but I was soooo uncomfortable, and was convinced labor was close. I was 36 weeks exactly, so a little early, but nothing to worry about. Thursday nothing happened. I had mostly been working from home, but I decided to go in that day to finish up anything that needed to be done before I went on leave. I was pretty certain that I would have a baby before the weekend was over. Friday was also uneventful, but I had a doctor's appointment in the afternoon. I told her about my signs, and she checked me, but I was not really dilated and 70% effaced, so she said that it could be 24 hours or two weeks. The way she said it indicated to me that she thought it would be a little while. So DH and I went home, and even though I knew it was best for Baby girl to stay in a little longer, I was a little disappointed because it was such a mind game at that point. I took a nap, and Rob got my car washed so he could install the car seat. When I got up, we decided to order a pizza for dinner, and picked out something to watch on tv. I got up to go to the bathroom before we started (around7:30), and when I was in there, my water broke! I called DH in, and he was super excited. Then he asked "should I cancel the pizza?" Hahaha, we decided it was a good idea
We did stop and get a burger on the way, though
I wasn't having noticeable contractions at this point, but my doctor had said that if my water broke first again, she wanted me to go in right away, so off we went. When we got there, they tested and confirmed that my water broke, and got me hooked up to monitors. The on call doctor checked me, and I was only 1 cm dilated, so she wanted to start pitocin. I can't remember what time they started, but I think around 10. I was having more and more contractions, and the doctor said I could get an epidural whenever I wanted. I thought that was great, but waited it out a while because the pain was totally manageable at that point and I didn't want to slow anything down. I waited until 4:00 am, and then got the epidural so I could sleep some before the big show. I woke up at 8:00 because I was feeling a lot of pressure, and was pretty sure it was go time. They checked me and said I was 9 cm, but baby was still high up, so try to wait an hour so baby could move down on her own. They called my doctor at this point, and she left her conference and rushed over so she could deliver Baby girl. When she arrived she checked me, and said Baby girl's head was "right there" and it was time to push. DH held my right leg again, did his great job counting, and Baby girl was out in 2.5 pushes! I could feel a lot more this time than with my son, but the pain was over quickly and I got to hold my baby girl. It was such an emotional moment, and we were so happy.
She weighed in at 6 lbs 11 oz and 20.25 inches. Long and skinny
Since we've been home things have been going well. We haven't allowed any visitors, with so much going around it just isn't worth the risk. DH has been able to mostly work from home, so it's been nice having our little family bonding time.

@pinkb: he is such a dreamboat! Sounds like a tricky but ultimately wonderful birth and I'm so excited for you that you went into labor on your own before your induction! I hope I am as lucky.

I had my baby a few days ago! Here's my birth story!
My due date was 2-28 and I had been having contractions for a few days before only at night and they would just die off. So on my due date I had no signs of anything. I was determined that I would have our team green baby the next day. Well I also had PUPPS the last few weeks of my pregnancy. I woke up 3-1-15 at 12:44 to the worst "PUPPS attack" yet. My throat and eyes were itchy. I told my husband who helped me till out of bed were I felt my water "break". I showered and labored in our bathroom till about 2:45 where I then threw up. We called the doc who said to try and come in. I eventually made it to the car and to the er dept within the hour. The next portion is straight out of a movie. We pulled up to the er and my husband had to move the car after helping me out because someone else had just pulled in. I waddled on in holding my belly and said "I'm in labor" SPLASH !!! My water burst at the reception desk for real! They sprinted me up to L&D Where I was checked at a 6/7 cm. I labored till 9.5 cm before asking for an epidural. They told me the risks at that point and I continued on. This was at 6:45 am. Bryson Was born at 9:40 at 8lbs -12oz and 21-1/2" long. I was so proud of myself for having him without any medication whatsoever! We are in love beyond measure! Sorry for the novel!
