The next few weeks are going to DRAG by! I see the OB on August 11th, and I will be just under 11 weeks. So nervous about baby between now & then, which is silly.... just trying to count down the days.
Next week is my 30th so that's exciting. Wish I could tell people our news on that day!

@intotheocean: ugh I'm dealing with that too! No vomiting but a general feeling of queas is now a normal part of my day. My son is so hyper and doesn't understand gentle very well. I hope you feel better soon my dear! Can't wait for your nt scan! I hope you get a good nub shot!

I was standing at my desk earlier and felt a GUSH of blood... got to bathroom and my undies were soaked (luckily I had an extra pair in gym bag). I talked to a midwife at my practice (the same one I saw last week for bleeding) and she said if I am miscarrying there isn't anything they can do (she had said I could come in if I wanted, or go to ER, neither of which I want to do). So I guess I just wait at this point. No cramping, which is good, and I'm still super exhausted and nauseous. So ready to be out of the first trimester!!!

Well I'm 5 weeks today but I feel further along so I'm starting to wonder if I'm not a month ahead as last month's period was wonky. I don't go to the doctor until August 20th, but have a scheduled call with the nurse next Friday and I'm going to raise my concerns and ask for a dating U/S. It hurts to suck in my stomach...which didn't happen until much later last time. I know they say you pop earlier with #2...but this is a little ridiculous
DH thinks it's twins...which scares me too since my lines have always been so dark when testing!

@LulaBee: oh honey bleeding is so scary! I will be praying for you and that little bean. I know a lot of pregnancies have bleeding but it's very disconcerting and frankly it's kind of annoying to me that your midwife wouldn't get you in for an early ultrasound! I would demand one or go to ER for one if you see anymore blood. You are far enough along now for that.
@LuLu Mom: wow! You could be a feb momma! Can you request an earlier ultrasound siting your concerns?

So, the appointment went well but they said it was too early for the doppler and that if I had an ultrasound today that insurance might take away my 12 week or 20 week. But the doctor said that everything looked good and he doesn't see why I wouldn't have a normal pregnancy! I really wish I could have seen the baby but I understand. I wish I lived in one of those places that let you do a sonogram at 7-8 weeks! Thanks for all your thoughts.

@intotheocean @MrsMcCarthy @jaguar: Amen to the toddler/morning sickness issue! It started a little easier and sooner than last pregnancy, so I was hoping it would stay mild, but I have been feeling a lot worse the past few days. Boo. My 15-month-old loves to lay on my stomach, which usually means I get elbowed in the gut a lot. Ha ha so I feel ya!
Also, I finally have an appointment! Aug. 18th, which seems forever away! I'll be 10 weeks, so it will be wonderful to hear that sweet heartbeat! And find out how many babies we're looking at here. (Twins run in my family.)

Well, I guess there is one perk to being super nauseous. I can't go anywhere near the trash or dishes so i don't have to do them! I keep gagging anytime I am near them. So disgusting!

@jaguar: It seems like such a waiting game so early on!! Hoping it goes well! I don't know if I will have one this time. I didn't have one done last time, it wasn't even offered. I moved and have a new doctor this time, so who knows.

Waiting to schedule my NT scan, but it should be the week of 8/18, so only about 3 weeks away!
I did schedule my next doctor's appointment, and it is on 8/11, so hopefully in 2 weeks I will get to hear the wonderful sound of a heartbeat! I am going to try my best to not bust out my Doppler before then, but I'm making no promises.
DH thinks it's twins...which scares me too since my lines have always been so dark when testing!
