Got my epi around 1:30/2....Broke my water at 2:30...was 5cm...at like 3:20 I told Damien I was in more pain then I thought normal...dr checked I was 10 at 3:30...tried one push...she kinda crowned...then the next contraction I pushed her out...

Thanks ladies!!! I was so nervous when the checked me after 3 hours on pitocin and I had only gone up 1cm...
Then after she broke my water and like 45 mins later I was feeling lots of pain and nervous I didn't have a good epi...nope it was transition!
I did my practice push and her head lodged in a weird-ish way making it so I coukdnt feel contractions well...she told me to do my best during the next contraction and it would pay off...
First push dropped her further...second push her head was out and third (after a short break) her shoulders were out...I was shocked.
Small tear (2nd degree) and some scrapping inside but other wise I feel real good...
My Emmy is a binky junky already...

@Mrs D: Congrats! I'm jealous that you only had to push 3 times. I hope it's that way for me too!

Congrats to everyone on the arrival of their LOs so far! I've been reading along but have had a harder time keeping up with responses! I can't wait to hear about more March babies arriving!

Getting induced today due to high blood pressure. Waiting on a room and then they'll insert misoprostal to start ripening my cervix. Only at 2cm right now.

Not even 4 hours in and my water just broke! Guess my body was ready to rock n roll!

Contractions started up as soon as my water broke, close together and productive right away. I was 2cm to begin and in less than an hour progressed to a stretchy 4. After about an hour DH called our doula to head over since I was needing to hum and breathe through contractions. She arrived just in time for my transfer to L&D where things quickly picked up speed!
All told I was in active labor for 4 hours and pushed out my son in just 5 minutes! He's a champion nursed already, and has my heart firmly in his tiny hands.
Joshua Ford M. Weighed 7 lbs and was 20.5" long when he came into the world at 6:37pm!
