Who have you told: my sister. I will tell my husband when his sister, who is visiting, leaves town today. It's his elder sister who really wants to have kids but is single and is worried she won't meet anyone in time (she's 39). I'd rather not be excited with my husband while she's staying with us as I'm aware that she might find it difficult.

First child? No, this is my second, son is an April 16' baby.
First doctor appointment: July 26
Any symptoms so far? Puking, nausea, fatigue, sore boobs, cramping, and a few food/smell aversions.
Who have you told? Husband, parents, sisters, husband's grandparents, best friends, POAS board. This is a long time coming, so I really couldn't stand to wait to the first appointment even.

First doctor appointment: waiting for a call back from my Dr.
Any symptoms so far? Sore boobs and nausea off and on. Pretty mild so far.
Who have you told: DH, my parents, FH's parents, mommy group, and my coworker.
Had blood work done last week but only one draw so not super helpful for progression purposes. At 16dpo HCG was 365 and progesterone 11.7. I'm concerned about the P being just over the lab threshold of normal but we'll see what my Dr says. I'm hoping she'll send me for an early ultrasound next. 🤞

First child? This will be my second! My first is four and almost a half.
First doctor appointment: It was Friday. Still waiting for bloodwork to come back.
Any symptoms so far? I'm so tired! Nausea and cramping come and go. And I'm grouchy but pretty sure that's just me being me....
Who have you told? Just my husband, and he told his brother. I'm waiting on bloodwork and possibly the first ultrasound before I tell anyone else.

How far along: 4 weeks
First child? This would be my third (7 yo son and 2.5 yo daughter). I've also have 3 miscarriages.
First doctor appointment: I go to see the nurse practitioner for a brief meeting and bloodwork on Thursday 7/11.
Any symptoms so far? None.
Who have you told? My husband, sisters, mother, and a friend.
I'm really freaked out because I'm 39 and will be 40 when/if I deliver. I've also had multiple losses all around 8 weeks so I'm feeling very anxious. While this was an intentional pregnancy, I'm still very much in shock and really worried about how a new baby will interrupt life with my existing kids, travel plans, job aspirations, etc.

Just had a second beta drawn and the numbers have more than doubled in the appropriate amount of time. I still dealing with anxiety about adding a third child, being an older mom, etc. I really wanted this but now am freaking out. What's wrong with me??! I've literally been crying off and on for a week straight.

@Shantuck: I'm totally freaking out right now too. I mean we all know how much I wanted this, but I'm in total panic mode now that it is.
I admitted to my sister last night that I was worried about adding a kid, if we can do it, if I'll be able to solo often with 2, did we mess up. And she basically told me I'm being ridiculous and to get over it
Yes I want this, I'm excited, but freaking

First child? 2nd! We have an almost 10 month old
First doctor appointment: August 7 (it feels like such a long wait 
)
Any symptoms so far? They are off and on and much milder than what I remember from my first pregnancy. I had headaches last week. A little very mild nausea once and a while, and that’s about it.
Who have you told? Just my husband (and I guess our 10-month-old, but she doesn’t really understand 
)

I am excited but also super nervous to be here. I am feeling OLD though my doctor seems unconcerned about my age. I will be 42 when baby arrives

I’m having some spotting this morning, ugh. 
I kept notes in Ovia from my last pregnancy, and I had spotting around the same time, but still super nervous. I’m 5 weeks 2 days.

Hi Ladies! It's been a long road to get here. I'm a little in denial and scared. TTC since 6/2016, 1 MC, 3 IUI, multiple TIC cycles w/ meds, 1 IVF and 3 FETs w/ PGS normal embryos. We changed up my protocol for my 3rd FET which was on July 3rd and it worked! I'm cautiously optimistic.

How far along: 5w2d - measured ahead by 1 day
First child? YES
First doctor appointment: 1st beta 959, 13dpt, 2nd beta 1,977, 15dpt. First US was on 7/19, we saw the gestational sac and yolk sac. Next US 7/25, we will hopefully hear a heartbeat!
Any symptoms so far? I'm still having on and off cramps that started 2dpt - please tell me this is normal. I'm also starting to feel more tired mid-day.
Who have you told? Other than my REs office, my husband and best friend know.

Yes, cramping early on is totally normal, mine was so bad at some points that I had to take 2 extra strength Tylenol to sleep.

@Sams Mom: Same. lol How far along will you be on Friday? My next US is on Thursday, I'll be 6w. The nurse said, we should be able to hear a heartbeat. However, my research is 50/50. So I'm pushing it back a few days in hopes we will be able to see it. I'm waiting to hear back from them.

Over the halfway mark of the first tri - 7 weeks today and symptoms are still pretty mild. Definitely nausea but as long as I eat frequently it settles for a bit. Last pregnancy I threw up every morning when I brushed my teeth so I'm grateful so far. My boobs are still super sore tho. My kids will accidentally hit my chest and I'm like aaaaahhhhhh.

We've been trying for #2 for 2.5 years and have had 3 miscarriages during that time, so I'm cautiously optimistic this time. I'm going to wait another week to schedule a doctors appointment.

How far along: 6w4d
First child? Nope - DD is August ‘16 baby.
First doctor appointment: today! 7/22 for bloodwork, 8/9 for first official US.
Any symptoms so far? More nausea than I remember with DD. Major forgetfulness. At 5w3d, I had sudden heavy bleeding. It came on quickly and lasted about 45 min and then stopped just as abruptly as it started. I called the doc on call and they brought me in the next day for an urgent US. From what they could see at that stage, everything was fine and there was no explanation for the bleed. I’m sure they’ll continue to watch me close.
Who have you told?: Hubs, some close friends who called me out on not drinking and best friend. Both sets of parents are on to us though, so we’ll probably share with them this week. Trying to hold space for my brother and sister in law that were TTC for 3 yrs and are just finally easing into the 2nd trimester themselves.
Happy to see that I’m in similar company with some AMA mommas and that I’m also not alone on the age spacing of our DD to BB2

@Mrs Lavender: @Shantuck: The spotting stopped later that day, so I was hopeful, but yesterday I had cramping and light bleeding. Went away overnight, and now spotting again. Going to the doctors later this afternoon.

Had my appointment, I couldn’t make out much, but the doctor said things were measuring correctly for how far along I am. There was also some flickering activity (probably too early for a heartbeat, I’m only 5 weeks 6 days). Got blood drawn to check my progesterone level, my doctor said that could possibly have something to do with the bleeding.

@greencraftycello: that's good news! Hopefully it's just progesterone because that is totally correctable.
