Well I wasn't too far off - due date is today and I'm 3 cm dilated, 60% effaced. Had an NST and apparently I'm contracting every 7.5 minutes! Don't think it will necessarily be today, but maybe in the next few days??!!

I'm still here. And nothing is happening yet.....LETS GO BABY! Hopefully something happens in the next few days becasue I am starting to get pretty emotional (aka crying hysterically this morning because I forgot something stupid for a work meeting) and cranky(my poor DH)... yikes!

@shopaholic: I can feel the contractions and I've been having cramping for weeks now, but it never really bothered me. I just assumed they were BH. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain so I'm curious how the rest of this progresses!

@aprk: I'm jealous of your pain tolerance! I don't know exactly when I was at 3 cm, but when I got to the hospital, I was between 3 and 4 cm (or was it 4 and 5... I can't remember) and the contractions were definitely uncomfortable, but not SUPER painful yet.

@Adira: the only issue is what if I wait *too* long to go to the hospital? I'm glad I have a doula, I just need to be really mindful of my body so I can call her in time! I'm guessing it will ramp up during active labor and I'll definitely feel it

@aprk: haha, yeah, I'm sure you'll be fine. We were told to go when my contractions were 5 minutes apart, lasting 1 minute each, for an hour. So if you feel like your contractions get like that, I would definitely think you need to go! I'm so excited for you!

@Adira: good point. The contractions are still pretty quick, maybe only 20 seconds long at the most.

@aprk: Yeah, when mine were like that, they weren't super painful yet, so I'm guessing you still have time!!

@aprk: I was almost 3cm on Thursday and then Sunday night when I got to the hospital after my water broke, I was at 3 still. And I wasn't even having contractions yet. I was at 5 cm when I got the epidural. I hope your contractions get faster and today is the day!

@aprk: oh, maybe that's the difference. By the time I was at 3cm, they were 1 1/2 min. long, 2min. apart.

Ok I timed the contractions for a bit - lasting about a minute but more spaced out (not consistently at 7.5 minutes apart)
I'm predicting by Saturday!

hey everyone! Congrats to the mama's who's babies have arrived!
Ethan John arrived on 3/22 at 1:30p via scheduled cesarean (he was breech and did not flip - he entered the world bum first
)Everything was great at the hospital, we're home now and we're all doing well

My baby is basically never coming! Had a Dr appt today and 0% everything. We are looking at 1-2 weeks late according to the Dr. So my baby will def be an April baby. I was disappointed, but I guess he will come when he is ready! Maybe he will surprise me tomorrow or Sunday and things will move fast- hopefully I don't have to go to my 2 dr appts next week!

@cheert16: also, don't feel too badly. I was 3 cm and 60% on Wednesday and had a few days of contractions but no sustainable pattern. So I'm right there waiting with you!
