Did you ever play music for your baby before s/he was born? Did s/he get excited and "dance"?

Yup! For whatever reason he really responds to Elliott Smith. So we're making his middle name Elliott, lol.

C liked old jazz and blues when I was pregnant. She had a thing for BB King and would go nuts.

Yes I played a lot of music for the baby, she was always active though so I cant tell if she was responding to the music or not

DH is already saying we need to buy new headphones that we can put on my belly... you know, once it actually has ears in there. He's really excited about, which always makes me tear up a little.

My girl loved this Prokofiev piece that a girlfriend of mine was playing one day. She'd go nuts. She still likes it.

DH and I love music and play our car radios pretty loud. We also love to go dancing. So I've gotten in the habit of talking to baby and telling her "let's dance!" when a song I love comes on. She particularly likes deep bass beats and will start kicking away!

The ONE time I played music on my belly I ended up in pre term labor the next day! I never played music for her again.

We played some random stuff for the baby last night. He didn't seem to like disco too much, but he loved old school Usher, KC & JoJo, and Jodeci! lol
