Isn't the old wives tale that you're more nauseous with a girl than a boy? I'd thought I'd create a poll to find out!

I got sick twice, but I think it was my prenatals. I switched to the gummies and never had a problem again, and I never felt nauseous. I had a girl.

LO is a girl, and I puked multiple times daily through my 6th month. After that it was just every few days.

My mom had 2 girls and a boy. With both my sister and I she was extremely sick (hospitalized multiple times) for the first 3-4 months. With my brother she had mild nausea throughout the whole pregnancy.
I have a boy and I was sick weeks 6-14. I'm pretty sure that my pregnancy ms is directly related to my progesterone supplements though so I'm not sure it counts.

I had a boy and was mildly-moderately nauseous pretty much every day from from weeks 7-40--not always puking, but gagging/feeling nauseous/complete food aversion.

i'm one of 5 (2 girls and 3 boys) and my mom said that her morning sickness was worse with us girls.

@Running Elley: that's interesting - I didn't stop to think that my morning sickness might have been related to my progesterone supplements. I was on Endometrin until week 10? I was also on PIO injections before that. What did you take?
I had horrible "morning" sickness that came in the morning and late afternoon/evening until Christmas. I was 15 weeks at Christmas I think. I do not know whether I'm having a boy or a girl. I will find out in June!

I had an easy breezy pregnancy with DS...no nausea, no heartburn, lots of energy. DD sucked the life out of me.

I had zero morning sickness and I had a boy.
My coworkers were all horribly sick, for weeks and weeks- they also had boys.
I believe it is safe to say that it is definitely an old wives tale.

I had a boy and didn't have any nausea really - my friend had a boy and was so sick she couldn't leave the house for almost the entire pregnancy.

I'm expecting a boy and had bad nausea from 6w-16w. It's also coming back rom time to time now in the third tri. It was the bad all day nausea but I only hugged the porcelain bowl a handful of times the whole time.

We are pulling for a girl this time around and I have had no symptoms yet so I hope the old wives tale it not true, but it is still early haha. I only had moderate morning sickness with DS.
That said my mom was the sickest with me and I have two older brothers. With me, she had morning sickness the entire first and last tri.

I didn't have morning sickness (so thankful!!) and I'm having a boy! I was on progesterone supplements during my 1st trimester, and it only made my groggy/tired - no sickness.

Oldest daughter I had some morning sickness and actually threw up several times. It wasn't too bad. It would come on out of the blue, but once I threw up I was just fine. Youngest I felt so nauseated all the time. I couldn't eat hardly anything and food smells and just thinking about food was misery. But I never threw up once.

I had a boy and had nausea but no actual puking. I am 17 wks with my second and this pregnancy is mirroring the first. We are team-green this time around though so I can't say for sure if it's the same b/c it's another boy or if it's a girl and isn't related to gender

I had extreme morning sickness and had a girl, I ended up having to take Zofran due to lack of weight gain/weight loss during my first 15 weeks.
