What does your user name mean? Mine is an abbreviation of my blog. Lots of family read the blog though so I haven't shared any news there yet.
Describe your family? My husband and I have an 18month old daughter and a boxer. We have most of his family living close to us and my brother and sister here local for college.
What do you do for "you" time? Since LO, I am happy if I get time to paint my toes. I am finding that a hot shower with pretty smelling soap also refreshes me.
Fun Fact? We have an 80lb boxer that is our first love. We also have a 450sq ft sun room that we are hoping to put tile on and use as a playroom.

What does your user name mean? It's what my kids call me at school!
Describe your family? So far, it's just me, DH, and zombie in the belly, but all our family lives really close. We live exactly in between our parents, and my SIL and BIL are buying a house not too far away, so I'm excited all the cousins will be close.
What do you do for "you" time? I dance once a week with a performance company at my studio. If I had more time to read, that's what I would do all the time, but I read so much for work.
Fun Fact? Hmm. I am one of the few that can actually lick her elbow! Also, DH was my former customer at Starbucks....& I was in a campaign commercial for a now incarcerated governor of our state lol. -

Describe your family?
It's just me and my husband and our cats right now! We live far away from a lot of our family but we do have a few family members nearby which is nice.What do you do for "you" time?
I like to blog, or draw... I've been playing with markers and watercolours, lately. I'm also a fan of hot baths!Fun Fact?
My husband and I met at work -- I moved here thinking I'd be single forever and was dating him within a week! -
What does your user name mean? Ha...not much. I wasn't (obviously) very creative so I went with the most generic name I could come up with.
Describe your family? Right now, just me and DH. Obviously waitin' on #1 to join us! My parents are pretty close to us, his parents are a few hours north of us.
What do you do for "you" time? If I say watch trashy reality TV shows and eat Pizza Hut will you think less of me? But...yeah. DH and I go up north a lot (to his parent's place/my parent's cabin) and travel a lot, I love to go on walks, read, spend way too much time online...
Fun Fact? We close on our house next Friday...hooooly balls.

Hubby and I, DS is 14 mos old, and 2 sweet mutts. Both of our extended families live nearby. We had lived across the country for years until a couple of months before LO arrived and are so glad to be home.What do you do for "you" time?
I have so little of it these days - I work long hours and constantly study for a certification exam I'm taking. But I do drag myself out of bed every morning to do yoga and/or pilates before work.Fun Fact?
I play the fiddle and get together with friends/family and play together every week (I guess that is also "me" time)

Describe your family? I've been married to my wonderful husband for 11 months, and have a 1.5 year old Siberian Husky who is our baby, read: spoiled rotten.
What do you do for "you" time? I'm a huge TV nerd, I love all those true crime shows, so my me time is hiding out on the couch watching marathons and not answering my phone haha
Fun Fact?DH and I met when we were 12 and 16, and were best friends until I was 16 and he was 20 before we started dating officially. We hung out every single day, I took him on family vacations, he'd pick me up from school (lol!) and all that stuff, everyone was not surprised at all when we started dating!I think i'll be pushed over into November, soo i'm posting here!

Describe your family? My husband and I got married in June 2011. We have 2 cats named Oliver and Matilda.

What does your user name mean? It's my name
Describe your family? I have been married to DH for almost 3 years, and DS will be turning 2 in April. Both our families live nearby.
What do you do for "you" time? I like to spend time on Hellobee and catch up on reading blogs. If I find the time, I enjoy crafting. My current project involves lots of birthday projects.
Fun Fact? DH has a fortune telling uncle who predicted that we would have 3 kids (2 boys, 1 girl). He said that I would get pregnant right after the wedding. I thought he was silly. We weren't even planning on starting right away. Yeah... I was pregnant two months after the wedding. According to his predictions, our next LO will be a boy and three years younger than DS.

My husband and I got married in July 2011, but will celebrate our 5 year relationship anniversary this Friday. We have two adorable kitties named Pippin and Luna. We're having the first grandchild on both sides.
What do you do for "you" time?
I'm a writer (short stories and personal essays), I love to read, and I spend way too much time watching movies and TV shows on Netflix.
Fun Fact?
My husband and I met freshman year of high school, and became really close senior year. We had crushes on each other but never dated because we were never single at the same time. We went off to different colleges, and I eventually got engaged. That relationship ended (thank god) and I sent my husband an email out of the blue just to see how he was, since we had fallen out of touch. We started emailing and talking regularly, and 9 months and 2 visits later I moved from Arizona to Washington state to be with him. And here we are!

I'd have to say I'm super excited (albeit terrified...) to tell my parents, first heartbeat/ultrasound, and once that's done, like @MrsTiz: , super excited to find out the gender...also to feel the baby move/kick for the first time The whole thing still doesn't feel "real," if that makes sense...so I think some kind of "sign" that it's reeeeally happening will be fun!

What does your user name mean? Im very boring, it Mrs. (first initial last initial)
Describe your family? DH and I are coming up on our 1 year anniversary in May. We were best friends and lived together before he made a move. We have a 4 year old, 20 pound jack Russell/German shepherd/mutt named Maddy that we love to death.
What do you do for you time? DH and I watch a lot of tv, we love to go out on the weekend and spend the morning at panera and then go to target, and I love to read.
Fun fact? I got a job and a BFP in the same week!

What does your user name mean? DH's nickname for me is Fuss/Fussy. I guess I can get *ahem* a bit fussy when I don't eat
Describe your family? DH and I have been married for a year and a half. A month after we got married we adopted our dog (a doxie) who is spoiled rotten. Both of our families live within 5 minutes of us and we enjoy having them so close.
What do you do for "you" time? I have become a really big homebody since moving to a small town last year. I'm really into cooking (mostly baking), photography and spending ridiculous amounts of time online.
Fun Fact? DH and I met when I was 14 and he was 15, and we were best friends forever, but we didn't start dating until I was almost 22!
Most excited about for pregnancy? I'll have to echo @DigAPony - feeling the baby move and looking preggo!

@T.H.O.U.: I now live 600km away from my family, so I don't get to see them very often. My one sister is 7 years younger than me, so while she is really cool we're sort of in completely different stages in life. My other sister is not well. She suffers from borderline personality disorder. It's hard to have a good relationship with her, but I love her very much. She was supposed to be bridesmaid at my wedding but dropped out 4 days before...

@pui: I have a younger sister too by 9 years. We are getting a lot closer (especially now that her and my brother live close) but its still tough because she is a freshman in college. My husband that has a sister that has a mental disorder too and we unfortunately cannot have a relationship with her and it has really strained our relationship with our ILs. Luckily we recently just told them that we can't deal with MILs "updates" on the sister (just a ton of drama and lies) and my relationship with my MIL has gotten a lot better.

@T.H.O.U.: Yeah it's tough. My sister ends up in the hospital twice a month for attempted suicide... it starts to get almost ridiculous. She also creates so much drama and says very hurtful things sometimes. I don't know what kind of disorder your DH's sister has but with BPD it's important to remember that while she seems to do her best to push everyone away with her reckless behaviour and venomous words, deep down she so badly needs to be loved. It really is almost impossible to get along with a person like that and I can understand completely your difficulties.

Wow, so many of you have known your DH since childhood! Funny. DH and I met in college, dated briefly, then took a 6 year "hiatus" before getting back together.
I am most looking forward to finding out the gender. I have a little boy at home, and when I was first pregnant before, I really wanted a girl. Now, I find myself wanting another little boy - I already know what to do with him, plus we have plenty of clothes

@Mrs. J: Our doctor's appointment isn't until April 12 and I think we're waiting till then to even tell family -- and we won't have an ultrasound right away either. I'm going crazy, haha! And I honestly feel kind of lonely because I haven't seen my friends in like two weeks.

When I started working as a pediatric nurse a few years ago, I had never changed a diaper. Eek! My job has me pretty prepared for child birth (I've been an l&d nurse too!) and baby basics!
