One of my best friends from childhood to adulthood is 30 wks pregnant. She was a week and a half behind me until we miscarried. Right now, she is in the hospital with dangerously high blood pressure. Her husband called her mom, who lives in another state, and told her that she needs to fly out immediately. She is now freaking out. Prayers that she can keep the baby in as long as possible, healthy for her and the baby, but the doctors are wanting her to get at least 2 more weeks.

@lilteacherbee: I know, right! It's like, what more is going to go on. Our little group of family friends were super upset when my husband and I miscarried and we all turned our attention to my friend's baby and just prayed that it was going to be all okay and now this.

That happened to me, but not that early. Does she have protein in her urine, which indicates pre-eclampsia?

@Coco Bee: I'm not sure. Apparently, she's been having a bit of a problem lately, but now it's to the point that she is in the hospital and family needs to be out there. Her mom can't talk about it--she's so upset.

Praying for your friend! A friend's wife had to deliver at 32 (??) weeks because of preeclampsia and the baby was amazingly OK considering she was a preemie. Only had to be in the hospital a week or two I think!

Unfortunately, I don't have anything to update. I know her mom has a one way ticket there now. I'm not sure what all is going on. Hopefully, we will get an update soon. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers and I know she does too!

Update: not good news at all. My friend 's chest is starting to hurt and her liver is beginning to be affected. As of now, no plans to take the baby just yet. Prayers and good thoughts., please!!!
