Cautiously dipping my toes in over here. I'm only 3 weeks 6 days, first beta was 26 on Wednesday, I go back today but I am hopeful my numbers went up because I got a positive on a digital today, which didn't work before. I'm super nervous, I keep having these weird stabby twinges in the left side of my uterus, is that normal?

    @FaithFertility: hiii!

  7. FaithFertility

    eggplant / 11861 posts

@TheReelDeal: it is hard my last apt was just paperwork, I have not seen baby or anything for 3 weeks, ive got to get used to that!!!!!

@FaithFertility: I am kind of having a freak out day. I know it's probably nothing but I hate when symptoms shift. Last night I was less sick at dinner and able to stay up late which has not been the case. And then able to sleep in, also not usually the case. And now I've been wondering if I'm a little crampy which I'm sure is just in my head. But I can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. I am going to be begging the dr on Wednesday for an ultrasound. (I wanted to type "if I make it that far" but I made myself delete it!)

I'm trying to remember I'm 7+2, we've made it a long way, we saw a embryo on the scan, and anyway what happens now is not under my control.

Sorry I haven't been around much- I killed my computer, and little miss is a wiggly spit up monster who doesn't often let me type long responses on my phone. But know that I'm thinking of you all!

I have no real symptoms. I get tired in the afternoon and pee ALL THE TIME, but no morning sickness. My husband swears I'm not as nice, but he read on the internet that second trimester is better.

Yesterday was a great day. I had put off going to the dentist for such a silly reason.....1.5ish years ago, I told my hygenist we were trying to get pregnant and I was in the TWW. Of course, I wasn't pregnant then, and I didn't want to go back and be asked questions about that. So after getting pregnant, one of the first things I did was finally sign up for a cleaning. I told her I was pregnant and shared that we had to do fertility treatments. "Same here!" she said. She's four months pregnant and was seeing the same RE as me! We talked infertility stuff and early pregnancy fears before she finally looking at my teeth.

It was so great to talk to someone about it, and I decided that once we start telling people, I'll be very open about what we went through.

@FaithFertility: week 12 already! Time is passing so quickly!

@mrstal: I love seeing you here and can't wait to hear your nice, strong number!

@bhbee: Are you still visiting family, or in Texas now?

Oh yes, I do get cramps and twinges. All of this is still more like an idea and not reality!

YAY YAY YAY!!!! My beta today was 89! It tripled!!! They want me to do another one on Monday because it's so early (4 weeks tomorrow) still but I feel pretty hopeful. I'm already feeling a little off, somebody had some really strong smelling soap or perfume on today and it made me nauseous. I was so happy when I got the call I told my boss (who knows about our IF stuff) and she hugged me and cried. I'm getting excited!

Hi ladies! I am going to delurk. We found out on Mother's Day that we are expecting! I am 6weeks 3days. I had an ectopic pregnancy in January 2013 so we've been having weekly ultrasounds to make sure everything is in the right spot! Earlier this week we saw a yolk sac and little tiny heartbeat! I am so excited, but terrified since we've had a loss in the past. I'm not ready to join my DDC yet either but I figured you ladies would understand or cautious optimism!

@mrs.tal - congrats on your tripling beta! Maybe you have two in there??

@happygal - I went to the dentist today too lol! I had to tell them because they wanted to do x-rays. We haven't told anyone, so it was fun to talk about!

Just wanted to say congratulations to all you newly pregnant ladies! I have been so busy with my almost 9 month old lately that I haven't gotten to spend much time on HB but I'm so excited for all of you!

We are currently NTNP and in a couple months we'll have to start the infertility stress ride once again when we actively begin trying. I'm not very excited about that but I want you to know that however long the infertility ride was for you and however much stress you endure wondering if something bad will happen during your pregnancy it is all SO worth it in the end! I'll be praying and wishing good thoughts for all of you!

@marionberry: OMG I'm excited to see that you're getting back in the game! Although I also know that it can be scary having gone through IF. Do you think might do IUI early on knowing how well it worked for you? My fingers will be crossed for you guys!

  31. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@spaniellove: We figure we will actively try about 3 months or so before going back to the RE but there's no way we'll wait a year again. Given our iui worked the first time there's no reason for us not to try that again other than cost.

@marionberry: wow! I can't believe you're gearing up for #2. Time passes so quickly.

@MrsTal: will you go for one more beta, or are you set up for an ultrasound?

@EmilyE: congrats! I understand why you would feel cautious. How are you feeling?

@Happygal: I know! Although I'm so exhausted that I keep questioning if I can really handle two. Anyway, just so happy to see my bold fertility friend buddy over here! So happy for you!

@happygal - I'm feeling good! Some nausea, but really not bad at all. I have been taking a 1/4 unisom some nights if the nausea is bad, and to help with some insomnia and it really helps! I have only thrown up once so far, so I'm counting myself lucky! We have an appointment on Thursday and then hopefully we'll graduate to the OB!

How is everyone else feeling? Does anyone else have an appointment coming up soon?

  35. FaithFertility

@EmilyE: Hello aww that is such an amazing thing to graduate to the OB
I Will say I miss those weekly u/s!
Nausea stinks, but I'm glad your not throwing up, that is worse, Ireally only threw up so far 3 times, but I dry heave daily!

Update: Had my 12 week new OB check up yesterday, that was fun. ......NOT, sorry if this is TMI but I was on crinone until 10 weeks and when she went to do my pap she saw a lot of residue/build up.....ughhhh so gross so she dug it out for a few minutes not fun, but after all that we FINALLY got to hear a beautiful heart beat! ♥♥ it took my breath away! Truly amazing!
HB was 142 midwife says boy, we shall see!
