I've been thinking about you all in this heat...
How far along are you?
How do you feel?
How do you beat the heat?
Hope you're well
Eta: I'm not pregnant, but I'm still thinking of you!

38 weeks!
Okay for the most part, but definitely swelling in my feet now. I really can't complain.
Staying inside in the a/c

35 weeks!
I am feeling pretty damn good for being nearly 9 months pregnant! Very minor swelling in my hands and some minor pains and uncomfortableness that simply come with carrying such a big baby. But that's it. I will call myself lucky!
Not going outside... I just don't. Period. I even avoid some stores because they can't figure out how to use the A/C enough! lol

I'm still at the beginning! 7 wks!
I've been feeling pretty good. Minimal symptoms no ms really, not too fatigued, not bloat... really nothing. I do get overheated really fast though & have been really struggling drinking enough water nursing & being pregnant so boo that.
As for beating the heat... I'm in south Texas so my best defense is just to stay inside! lol

38 weeks 3 days. I'm OK with the heat since I'm just staying inside all day. I walked to the post office and the bank today, like a half mile in total, and it was brutal. Luckily my maternity leave started this week.
Generally, I'm just getting more and more uncomfortable-- baby keeps getting bigger and there just doesn't seem to be room in there. It's hard to get comfortable, but in general, I shouldn't complain. My feet aren't even very swollen! I hope it cools off before the baby is born so we can start going on walks outside.

Week 12 & the heat has been kicking my butt! The humidity + the heat has me dragging. I'm out in it most the day running errands & transporting people. It doesn't matter how much water I drink or how high the AC is I still feel like crap and get a headache. Its been around 90+ for most of the last 2-3 weeks w/o one drop of rain!

I am still in the very beginning (6weeks or so). I have been feeling pretty awful actually but I try not to complain because what my body is doing is nothing short of a miracle. I am beating the heat by going outside very little. Plus my office is always freezing. I have to be careful because I overheat easy when I am not expecting and it is nearly double as bad when I am. I spend a lot of time snuggling on the couch with my son and kitty cats. My poor dog gets a little jealous because she isn't allowed on the new couch.

Aren't you sweet, thank you for checking up on us!
29 weeks, trying to stay in AC during this heat wave. Upped my water intake to stave off major swelling.

29 weeks!
I'm doing okay in this heat. It's the humidity that is killing me. I spend a lot of time inside, basically only going out to do errands or walk the dog.

24 weeks!
Mostly in the A/C, but I am braving my patio right now. No swelling, thank God. I was dripping sweat on my walk this morning!

16 weeks! Doing fine with the heat ...mostly because it's winter here. 50 deg. outside right now

38+2 and I'm feeling pretty good - no swelling or anything, thank goodness. We don't have air-con in our homes here in the UK so its hard to escape the heat! I've got two fans going in the bedroom (its 11.30pm) and its still 29 degrees Celsius in here!! Its a good job i love the sunshine!! I'm being induced Sunday morning so the end is in sight!!
@LovelyPlum: Thank you for thinking of us!

39+4!
It's too painful to drive myself anywhere, so I pretty much stay at home during the day with AC blasting (even tho my hubs has to wear sweaters in the house).
I walked the mall last night and was pretty tired and hot by the end of it. I'm glad I'm in the home stretch - I don't know if I could take more weeks of this heat while feeling like an oven!

25 weeks and staying in the air conditioning because when I get hot I CANNOT COOL DOWN. Baking a human is tough work

35 weeks!
Feeling good, thanks! Although sleep is beginning to be hit or miss. If I sleep, I feel fantastic. If I have a restless night, then I'm exhausted, irritated and irrational. Here's to sleep!
If it's too hot, I just hibernate in my house. A/C is my friend.

24 weeks, and I feel pretty comfortable. This pregnancy has been treating me well, and I feel better than my last. Easier to keep down food, no morning sickness, sleeping without discomfort, and overall being more relaxed. Luckily the heat doesn't bother me (weird?), and my body is running a lot cooler than average.

Aww how nice to check on us!
I'm 18 weeks, and feeling great! But taking public transportation to work (I usually walk) and counting the minutes until it's bearable to go outside again! I hate this weather

27+4 over here! And Florida means I'm miserable when outside so I try to avoid it! It'll be like this through September though, proving I maybe didn't think this through all the way!

23 weeks and feeling great! The humidity here is a killer, but I'm used to it. I try to stay inside most of the time. I'm just glad we're moving along and November doesn't feel so far away now

18 weeks and it's been miserable here (Iowa)!! It was 91 degrees at 11:30 this morning. BLEH!!! I've been trying to just drink a lot of water and hang out in our A/C

22 weeks.
I feel great! Avoiding the heat at all costs! Drinking water like it's going out of style.

I'm 37+2 weeks, and its hot and uncomfortable over here. Sweating in places that shouldn't be possible. Luckily, we have air-con and an above ground pool, so I've been doing pretty well.

36 weeks, avoiding the heat if at all possible, but it has been getting to me. I didn't make it though the whole day of work yesterday, and my swelling has gotten worse. I'm getting close to being ready for this baby to make his appearance!

11 weeks and suffering from HG. Had to go to the hospital 2 days ago for an IV and I'm really missing interacting with my toddler more. I haven't really noticed the heat, as I've mostly been in bed and tend to get cold easily right now.

8-9 weeks (still waiting for an exact date)
Feeling ok. Some nausea but fortunately have the summer off to relax.
I just stay inside! It's brutal in NY with the humidity and concrete and no breeze!
Thanks for starting this, you are unbelievably sweet

I'm only 5 weeks 4 days but I'm pretty much just staying inside in the AC to stay cool, and keeping hydrated.

22 weeks and feeling pretty good. Heat doesn't seem to be bothering me anymore than any other year. Gulping the water to try and stay ahead of the sweat (gross!). We survive pretty well with open windows and ceiling fans, up here on the dry Northern Plains. Although, the other day I did get kind of sick to my stomach after working hard at our produce co-op for several hours in a building without much air moving or any kind of air conditioning and that wasn't much fun. But I'm dealin'.

I'm 14 weeks.
It's definitely hot out (and I work an indoor/outdoor job!). I just make sure to drink as much water as possible!

Glad to hear you're all doing well. Every time I see a pregnant lady walk down the street in the heat, I want to give her a portable fan, lol. As for me, I'm pleased to report that heat waves do not seem to affect TWWs all that much, so I'm hanging in
To all of you 30+ week ladies, I'm super impressed! Almost there!
@Cherrybee: aah! You get to meet your little girl so soon!
@Ellie: you are so close!!!
@Penny Lane: lol,.I forgot...lucky lady! You too, @ScarletBegonia!
@erinpye: noooo...oh honey, I'm so sorry I hope it passes soon.a
@tillma: sounds it!
Hugs to all!

@Grace: I can't believe you're 35 weeks now!! It feels like a lifetime ago we were hanging out in the TWW together and those 3 weeks you waited longer than I did to get your BFP felt like an eternity back then....
@LovelyPlum: Ooh, how many DPO are you? Hopefully all the babydust floating about in this thread will rub off on you!
papaya / 10570 posts
@LovelyPlum: TTC is brutal! I think Id rather face a long and traumatic labour than face another TWW! Will keep my fingers crossed for you!

I'm 36 + 2 and feeling ok, I could do without the contractions and leg cramps! The heat is not my friend, but I do pretty good cooling the house down at night with fans and windows. Luckily we don't have too high of humidity in the Pacific Northwest, but it's still too hot!
cantaloupe / 6800 posts
24 weeks!
I'm finally to a place where I feel great! Though I'm avoiding the sun because it is so effing hot here!

@LovelyPlum: You're so sweet! I really hope this is your lucky cycle - fingers crossed!
I'm 11.5 weeks and feeling great other than massive bloating every evening. Morning = flat tummy; bedtime = 6 months preggo belly. It's winter here in Darwin, although that still means 90 F temps every day, just lower humidity. I've acclimatized and we get a lovely ocean breeze in the afternoons, so not too much trouble staying cool!

13 weeks today & coming out of hiding! After 2 mc's last year, I've been cautiously excited but we had a good NT scan this week, so I'm ready to be a little more active on here!
I've been feeling good, but definitely spending a lot of time inside this week!
