My LO is a girl and our pediatrician is a woman. I would want a male doctor if I had a boy, but all 4 doctors at the practice are women.. :T

Our LO is a girl and our pediatrician is a guy. Not sure how she'll feel about having a guy ped when she gets older but we will switch if she does feel uncomfortable!

when I was a kid all my doctors were male and I loved them. But as soon as I turned about 16...I started a female family doctor and have been with her ever since.
My son will have a male but if I had a daughter she'd have him too.....he's just awesome. I think if you love your doctor you will be ok until they are at least of puberty age (then things could get awkward).

My LO is a boy, and pediatrician is a woman. I feel more comfortable with a woman treating my son.

We were choosing between a male and a female, and I let Wagon Sr. decide. He chose the male. Our daughter will have him too.

My daughter has a female pediatrician. We chose the ped based on our connection with her and her practice, not based on gender. Though I think if we had a boy, we might switch him to a male family doctor when he got older.

LO is a girl and our ped. is a man - I like him a lot. He's young, thorough, caring, and thinks LO is adorable. Hehehehe.

We have a boy and our dr (family doctor) is a woman. I'm not sure if there are any male drs/peds there. But I love her - she is so great.

We have a little girl and our ped is a female. She is AWESOME. Any time I call with a question or we get test results she is the one we talk to. The first time she called us I was in shock since that stuff is normally taken care of by the MA's.

I've always picked women. It's just a thing with me. I'm a woman pediatrician and so I feel like I can know exactly what our daughters' doc has been through juggling family and training.

DS's first pediatrician was a woman and she was awesome! We moved and his current pediatrician is a man. Move number 3 is coming up in a couple of weeks so we'll have to see what happens!

It really doesn't matter to me. Ours is female, but we also use a lot of advice from my husband's uncle.
My OB is male, I preferred him to the females in the practice. I want my son to understand that he can be open with his doctors no matter their gender.

Male, sex doesn't matter, it's more about bedside manner for me. Our first doctor was a great doctor but had a terrible manner, so we switched practices to another male doctor.

There's one man and 3 women in the practice. I prefer the guy for now, but I know when LO gets older she will probably want a girl. I had a guy and it was awkward.

It was originally a female but then she left the practice so now it's a male. When she's older we can always switch her to a female as it's a group practice.

We have a female. I never thought that a boy needs a female doctor. I checked with DH and he doesn't think it matters if a boy went to see a female doc so I will go with that.

My LO is a girl and her doc is a woman and she is awesome! I love her so much. If #2 is a boy he will be her patient too...maybe until puberty age

My LO is female and our ped is male. He's awesome but he's being stationed somewhere else in a few months.

LO is a girl and our pediatrician is female. I would still want the same doctor even if LO was a boy

Our son sees all of the peds at the practice we go to. There are both men and women. We love them all so far!
