I need some third trimester workout motivation! I've been working out a bit this pregnancy. Nothing too hardcore or regular. The weight has stayed off - I think chasing a toddler and nursing until 24 weeks was the cause of that! But I do feel better when I exercise, even though I'm more limited in what I can do now.
My goal is to do something every day. A yoga video, light circuit workout, or a stroller walk. And to do lots of pelvic floor exercises!
You? How are you working out in your third trimester?
The sun is finally out, so if I can get a 15-20 minute walk in during lunch I'm happy. Really, walking during/after work and prenatal yoga are the only things I'm able to do at this point (30 weeks), and I'm ok with that. I know I should be throwing some weights in there somewhere but I'm not a member of a gym and I don't know where to start!
Fairly certain they're fine! One of my former coaches did push ups like the day before she gave birth and I watched her like ahh you're squishing your belly lol! I think "they" usually say walking based on the idea that someone hasn't been active throughout. Or not as active as you! As long as it's not a new workout type, I've been told it's fine to continue, just watching your heart rate and whatnot! A part of me misses Crossfit
