Well, my husband and I got the surprise of our life on Monday... after a week of nausea, I took a pregnancy test on a whim and we're expecting baby #2. I was a June 2013 momma and if all goes well, will be a July 2014 momma! We're super excited, although the timeline is definitely a LOT sooner than what we were expecting for baby #2. The babies will be less than 13 months apart!
One of my first worries when I saw that BFP was the fact that I currently have an abdominal diastasis...and I HATE the mommy pooch it has given me. It was four-fingers-width when LO was first born and is now around three-fingers-width. I was hoping to fix the separation before getting pregnant again but that can't be helped now. This an example of the exercises I have been doing over the past month: http://www.diastasisrehab.com/diastasis-belly-blog/2012/01/real-simple-article-in-february-issue/
Maybe this is a silly question, but is there any reason I should stop doing these exercises while pregnant? Has anyone tried to fix a diastasis while pregnant? I know I should ask my care provider but after a bad birth experience in June (which is another story for another day ) I'm not sure who we're going with this time around and am still researching!
Thanks for any insight
