The first time I went to an OBGYN doc was when I found out I was pregnant. Luckily they didn't give me a hard time, maybe they just thought I filled out my form wrong (or didn't look at it). I understand the value of regular check ups but I still just never ended up going before pregnancy.

When I went to my midwife I had never been to a gyn before. Never had a pelvic or a pap smear or anything. I wasn't sexually active until I was 20 and then I was only with one person ever (and he had never been with anyone else), so I wasn't really worried so I never got around too it.

I had plenty of pap smears, but my regular physician always performed them. I never say an OBGYN until I sought one out for a pre-conception appointment in January and then was pregnant by March.

same!! I was 21 when I got pregnant so I hadn't found an OB or started going to regular appts yet. They did my first pap while I was pg! hahaha
I still don't see an OB.

I had been seeing a general practitioner for all my yearly exams so my first OB appointment was when I was preggers
