No, because he wasn't up yet (or maybe he out running errands or something) and I wanted to give him the onesies I made. HB was the first to know.

LO#1- yes
LO#2- no, I told HB first. I actually found out on a Friday and didn't tell him until Sunday! He was working a lot that weekend and I didn't want to tell him and then him have to leave right away. So I waited until Sunday so that we could spend the day together.

i told my son first (who was like 2.5 years old), then i told HB, then my husband that night when he got home from work.

The first person I told was the nurse at my RE's office so I could schedule a beta. I told my husband next, when we both got home from work - I still feel a bit guilty he wasn't the first!

Ehm, no. First person was a friend (who is a doctor) who was visiting, bc I saw a line and was in disbelief, but she didn't see it. I also posted a picture to HB for an opinion (and you all saw it). In fairness, I had so much spotting that I thought it was a chemical, and wanted to wait until she left so I could explain to my husband what had happened in private. I then told him the next morning in a super cute way after my friend left and I had a BFP on a digital and felt like it might stick. When I went to the doc the next day for a blood test and got the good news that it was really a positive, I called him right away! Next time he'll know first!

Nope! He was at the dr office and didn't answer his phone. That's what you get! I don't even remember with T

Hell yes he was. There isn't anyone I would have rather told first!
@erinbaderin: Off topic, but "moo point" just cracked me up. "It's like a cow's opinion. It's moo."
I love Friends!

Nope. I had to text a pic to a friend to make sure I was seeing it right! I told him right after that though.

I think with DS and my miscarriage I told HB first!! With this pregnancy I told him first.

I texted him because he was at work and I was in shock. We had only been trying for one month and neither of us really thought it would happen that quickly. I had to go to my second job still in shock and told my good friend when I got there. So my coworker was the first person I actually said it out loud to, hubby was first person I told but it was via text.

No- I took a FRER when I got home from work and when I saw a faint line I was in so much shock I sent it to two friends to confirm. As soon as he got home that day I told him! I didn't want to do it over text/phone.

First time, yes. Second time, the line was such a super squinter I text a dear friend to ask her opinion on if it was there or I was imagining it (my beta came back at a 7 later that day, so it was REALLY early. FRER FTW!) Both ended in miscarriage, so I guess I'm an even split. Next time will be the tie breaker for who I tell first!

I said yes even though I technically told The Bee first by posting my test.
He was the first person I told in real life. I told him the night of.

Yes! He was out of town for work on Friday night, and I tested on Saturday morning (because everyone in the POAS thread said I should! ). I spent all day bouncing around the house, taking additional tests, and decorating a onesie to use to tell him. He came home in a terrible mood, ranting about the trip, and I didn't get to tell him until almost midnight.
I posted on the POAS thread the next day, and then didn't tell anyone else for over a month.
