When we found out with A, we were not one bit surprised! We haven't found out with this one yet but when we do, if it is a boy, I will be SHOCKED.

Honestly, my very first thought was 'I was so sure you'd be a girl!' (immediately followed by 'You're HUGE! How did I just push you out of me?'

Yess everyone thought I was having a girl! I was shocked!! I am so so happy he is a boy though and can't imagine him being a girl now at all! I was meant to have a boy

I was so surprised when we were told girl that I burst into tears. I don't even know why I cried!
I remember saying "I don't know why I'm crying! We knew it would be one or the other!"

Not a bit. If she had been a boy though I think my husband and I would have told them they gave us the wrong baby. We were team green but we were SO sure she was a girl.

Yes but I shouldn't have been! All signs pointed to boy, everyone kept telling me it was a boy, but I was still holding on to my dream of my little girl I wanted. When I found out he was a boy I was shocked! But happy!

We really thought it was a girl both of us were mentally ready for a girl but it was a boy and I'm so glad he is

I have always said I want a boy first. I got my boy first. I thought for sure that this one was going to be girl because my pregnancies have been so different. Man was I surprised when they said boy! I am thrilled but I was defiantly shocked. I am hoping that my boys are similar in being laid back. I guess we will see...

We were team green and I was SO shocked when she was a she. All sorts of people had told me it was a boy, and pretty much everyone I know has had boys lately.

Nope. I didn't really have a gut feeling either way. I just REALLY wanted a girl.

Completely shocked... I was convinced we were having a boy that I had convinced everyone who asks about it but she was a girl and I couldn't be happier. Also we were team green.

Very. We were convinced she was going to be a he. It took a few days to get over that once we'd had our early gender scan.

OMG, YES! We were Team Green and through my whole pregnancy we were CONVINCED I was carrying a boy. Like, I was SO certain about it I would have bet almost anything. So when she was born and she was a girl we were in total disbelief!

We were TG...when she came out, Dh announced: "It's a girl!!!" While at the same time, the nurse said "it's a boy!!!"
Lol...I was so confused and obviously believed the nurse since she has a medical background and everything. Turns out my husband was right and we have a sweet baby girl!

We were surprised both times!
Thought boy with #1 and girl with #2. HAHA
lovely surprises

Both times I was absolutely shocked!
With #1, everyone convinced me I was having a boy. My mom even knit me two blue sweaters and two blue hats! When we found out it was a girl at 15 weeks, it was such a pleasant surprise.
With #2, we were SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER shocked it was a girl. I had been told at 14 weeks that my doctor was 90% sure it was a boy. Of course, I believed her since we found out at 15 weeks with #1. Also, the pregnancies were totally different. I had morning sickness the first time, and NONE the second. I had severe fatigue the first time, and NONE the second. This time, I am all belly, where as the first time I gained weight in my whole body. When we found out at 20 weeks that #2 is indeed a girl, IT WAS SHOCKING. I was shaking I was so excited and DH teared up because it was such a big surprise!!!

I really wanted a boy with our first and thought boy from the beginning so it wasn't too surprising. With this one I really want a girl and feel like it's a girl but who knows...find out on Wednesday!

I wasn't that surprised with #1 (boy) but I was pretty surprised with #2 (girl). I thought I would be a mom to two boys!

We were shocked. Everyone in DH's family always has boys. He has 4 brothers and we have 3 nephews. M is definitely the princess of the family!

@Mrs. Champagne: Team green is SO FUN!! Can't wait to hear what you're having!

Shocked, we both thought boy and when she said girl I was so happy! I would have been happy either way (either first grandson or my dream of a little girl) but I thought for sure it was a boy! Next time I don't care, I will be happy with either again (my dad got his grandon in July so he's happy!)

I wasn't too surprised by LO's gender. Everyone wanted him to be a girl, but I had such a strong feeling that he's a boy. I was right. Last night, DH remarked about hopefully not having another boy because LO is so full of energy and strong willed.

Absolutely shocked both times, we were expecting girls both times, and were thrilled to find boys (thrilled either way, but really wanted two boys!) We had tons of girl names, but boy names have come harder to decide on.
I'm still surprised #2 is a boy, while my pregnancy side effects are exactly the same, I'm carrying entirely different this time.
pomegranate / 3204 posts
Nope. I had a strong gut feeling both times. I knew as soon as I found out I was pregnant with #1 it was a boy, and it was.
With #2 I started to get a gut feeling around 12 weeks it was a girl, and it is!

I was convinced it was a girl from the get-go, and I was right. If they had found a penis at our anatomy scan, my eyeballs would have fallen out of my head.
