I'm a diabetic and already been told that they will induce me around 38 weeks. I am curious if they will schedule that a few weeks in advance or maybe longer. For those of you who were induced, when did your induction get scheduled?

I received my induction date at my check up appointment the day before my EDD! The induction was scheduled for one week after my EDD!

I got my "possible" induction date about a week ahead of time. It was more of an "assess to induce" though, because if all was well they would have let me go another couple days.

One week ahead of time. I had my weekly visit yesterday and they scheduled my induction for next Thursday.

At 40 weeks exactly (Wednesday) my OB offered me the option of scheduling either an induction or a c-section (with her suggestion being the section due to baby's and my sizes) for today - Friday.

I had my 40 week check up today and since my blood pressure was high and baby is big, my doctor said no later than tomorrow but if I can't get in tomorrow, Monday was the absolute latest I can go.
