Just curious...when did you pack your hospital bag? On one hand, I feel like I should have one ready (in 33rd wk), but on the other hand, I think it might drive me nuts to have it sitting around for what could potentially be a couple more months. Did any of you just throw some stuff in at the last minute before heading to the hospital?

I had all baby stuff ready by 37 weeks and that included the hospital bag (besides those last minute toiletries that you throw in). I like to be super prepared but I WAS going crazy since I got laid off so I wasn't doing anything and then didn't deliver until 40 weeks 4 days.

I packed mine at 35 wks (I'm 37 now). There's still some last minute stuff that needs to be thrown in--we keep a list on the fridge so we won't forget.

We had ours packed and in the basement waiting at around 34 weeks. I had nothing else to do at the time, so I researched and packed the bag. I didn't want to be in the position of having to ask my husband to look for something while I was in the hospital, he can be infuriatingly stubborn while looking for things.

I'm 31 weeks and am starting to gradually accumulate items for my bag. I have quite the stash of travel-sized items, so I pulled some of those out. Then went to Target yesterday and bought razors, breathmints and chapstick to add to the pile. I have some old slippers and flip flops that I'm ready to get rid of, so those will probably become my hospital slippers and flip flops.
I figure if I do it this way, if we have to rush to the hospital and my bag isn't packed yet, I'll at least have a little pile of items that are ready to throw into a bag.
I'm aiming to have it done by 34 weeks. -
I had it packed at 37 weeks. But I also had a list of things for hubby to put in last minute, like the camera,phone,charger, etc.

I'm 39 weeks and my bag is half packed. I'm still using (toiletries) and wearing half of the items I plan on bringing (comfy maternity tshirts and bottoms). But the baby bag is all ready to go.

I had it packed at 38 weeks and in the trunk of my car.

I am 36 weeks and I do have my bag partially packed. It has everything except the baby clothes which I havent washed yet. I started packing this bag about 3 months ago because my mom was so excited and gave me slippers and a gown for the hospital stay.
I'll put the baby clothes in the laundry this week and add them to the bag and then I'll be all set -
I packed mine at 31 weeks, but I'll probably go through it and review the packing in a couple weeks. (I'm 34 weeks now). There are a couple things I'd like to upgrade, like, better pajamas, and add, like, contact lens case. But it just made me feel good to have one more 'to-do' checked off the list.

I packed mine about thirty minutes AFTER my water broke.

We're terrible. I'm 38 weeks, and we finally got around to mostly packing our hospital bags last night. I've had a partially assembled pile of stuff sitting around that was meant to go into the hospital bag for a few weeks now. But yesterday was the first time that I actually went through the list, made sure we had everything, and put it all in a bag.

I packed pretty early on last time, but I will probably end up making a list this time and packing after I go into labor! I used so few things from the bag last time, and most things are things I wouldn't be able to have packed for weeks in advance (camera, cell phone chargers, laptop, etc).

At 39 weeks, I hadn't packed mine, and I fell forward on my stomach while walking my dogs. My OB had me go to the hospital immediately for a NST. It turned out that I was having regular contractions, and I was kept overnight for monitoring. DH and I really wished we had packed our bags ahead of time - that hospital stay would have been much more comfortable with our stuff. Next time around, I plan to pack our bags earlier. It doesn't cause any problems to have them packed, but it can be a problem if you don't have them ready and need to rush to the hospital.

I didn't pack mine til 40ish weeks. I ended up being 12 days overdue, though, & had to keep pulling stuff out that I needed & then had to make sure my toiletries & that sort of thing were packed after my labour actually began. I'd say just have the actual bag somewhere handy & pack it after labour starts.

I packed mine literally the night before my water broke and rushed to the hospital. I was 36 weeks at the time. I thought I was being super proactive too, thinking I wouldn't need it for at least a few more weeks. You just never know! I would at least pack a few necessities at around 33/34 weeks juuuuuust in case!

I'm just shy of 39 weeks & if I can get motivated I'll be getting our birthing stuff ready today............ IF...... lol

I'm 34 wks + 3 days and I'd imagine in another week or two we would have it packed. My husband is super packer and always prepared. Hhaha.

I am planning on packing at at around 37 weeks, we are going away for the weekend at 37 weeks, so once we are home from our trip, I will get the hospital bag ready to go.

i started maybe around 34/35 weeks but wasn't until like 36 weeks that i felt like i got the majority of it done. i feel like i'm done but i guess we'll see if i add something last minute.

I'll probably start packing around 38 weeks.

i'm 33 weeks and i will probably pack at the last minute. i don't have extra sets of a lot of things that i need to use on a daily basis (like my sonicare toothbrush or cosmetics). we also live a couple of blocks away from our hospital so even if i forgot something, my hubby can always run home and get it!

I am 35 weeks and haven't even thought about packing a bag...I guess I should get on that! My Mom was kind enough to bring me up a travel deodorant that she got for me when she came up for the shower, so I guess that's ready!

Carrying twins, books say have it ready by thirty weeks... Which is tomorrow!! Not a bloody thing got yet. Will get everything this and next weekend, the phone and charger will obv be last in.

I pulled it out around week 34 but didn't actually start packing it until week 38. I definitely overpacked!
