I'm wondering how long I can realistically delay telling people about my pregnancy. I just read somewhere that I could be growing out of the waistline of my pants at 8 weeks! That's in one week! I was also told I might not get my first ultra sound until week 14. I had thought to wait to tell until the first ultrasound, but seriously, I'm pretty sure I'll be showing by then if not before.
So, I'm wondering: When did you start to show so that it became pretty obvious to other people.

I had someone ask me if I was pregnant at 12 weeks. But everyone is different. I watched a show where people hid their pregnancy into the third trimester. They're very creative with clothing choices.

I don't think I start obviously showing until I was in my 2nd trimester. This time around, I'm still wearing my pre-baby jeans. My belly size fluctuates. When I eat a lot, it looks huge. When I don't eat much, belly is a lot flatter.

I felt like I was showing early but looking back I don’t think it was obvious to other people until at least 15 weeks and it wasn’t really obvious until more like 18.

i noticed my belly starting to grow at 12 weeks, but now i'm 18 and people still can't really tell. then again, i wear suits to work and my jacket covers it up pretty well. my skirts and pants no longer zip up all the way though!

I am pretty petite- I was sized out of my jeans around 8 weeks and have had a stranger say something around 12 weeks. I can still hide it easily in the right outfit - so it depends what types of clothes you normally wear and your body shape I think!

Someone told me it was noticeable at 16 weeks but I don't think I truly popped til 20+ weeks. Everyone I knew said something around week 21 when I actually popped.
Eta - im about 5'7", so I'm not sure if that played a part as well.

I thought I was showing at 12 weeks, but I think I just looked like I'd had a big lunch to everyone else. I popped at 17 weeks, and now I just feel ginormous (and yet I know I have a long way of growing belly to go!)

I'm almost 20 weeks now and I still kind of just look chubby in most clothes...like fluffier around the middle. In m aternity clothes it's much more obvious. It really just depends on your body type though, and how you'll be carrying.

I agree with others - totally different for everyone... I thought I was showing at 16 weeks, but I think I really started showing at 18!

Your height/torso length will play a big part in it. I was probably 24 weeks or so before a stranger could tell I was pregnant, and by that point I was dressing to accentuate it. But I'm 5'7" and long torsoed, I have shorter friends who you could tell for sure much sooner.

I could tell pretty early but I don't think it was noticeable to other people until close to 20 weeks. By 22-23 weeks it was definitely obvious.

It didn't become very noticable until 18 weeks, but I had a little pudge at 14, mostly looked like I had gained a gut and a flowy shirt/dress covered it. You can get away with empire-waisted stuff to help hid it in the beginning.

At 20+ weeks those that knew I was pregnant said I looked like I just ate a big lunch. Even at 6.5 months people coudln't tell right away that I was pregnant. I measured small throughout my entire pregnancy though!

I'm 17 weeks right now and unless I told you I was pregnant, then you wouldn't be able to tell. The only person at work that I told was my supervisor and I don't think she has any clue. None of my coworkers have said anything. I was even having a bridesmaid dress altered and I told the seamstress that I'm pregnant. She said that she would not have known otherwise.
I'm average height (5'6") and overweight, if that makes a difference.

I am 17 weeks and while I feel like I popped at the beginning of this week, many people say to me that they can't even tell! I am leaning toward wanting to really show now, since I am definitely "feeling" much more pregnant this week.

I'm almost 15 weeks and I just look like I ate a big lunch. And honestly, it changes from day to day depending on what and how much I ate so I think it's still more bloat than baby. But when I wear maternity pants and a tight top you can definitely tell there's something going on there. But I think I have a few more weeks to go before I'll have any trouble hiding it.

II didn't start looking obviously pregnant until 20 weeks and started wearing maternity clothes at 25 weeks. I gave birth in may and I remember around christmas was the first time someone asked me if I was expecting.

My hips felt wider around week 8 and that week my pants got REALLY tight, but I definitely didn't look pregnant (and I hadn't gained any weight really).
I'm about 15 weeks now and I'm starting to look pregnant and not like I just ate too many cookies. I'm only 5'2 with a short torso, so I think that's why I'm already kind of showing.

tomorrow i a 18 weeks and i barely just starting to show. if you didn't know i was pregnant, you would not think what i have is a baby bump (as my friend told me the other because she didn't know i was pregnant until after i told her).

there's def been a lower belly pooch that is more than just bloat since week 13... i'm 16 weeks now and it's pretty much stayed the same size. can't wait for it to pop!

I felt so bloated at like 8 weeks but looking back at my photos, didn't have an actual baby bump until 20 weeks +

I feel like I REALLY looked pregnant at 19 weeks. Before that it was more chub/bloat looking.
