I'm having a drop-in baby shower next week and the hostesses and I were talking about when I should open the gifts.

Someone else chimed in and said that, at her SIL's last baby shower, it was drop-in and she didn't open her gifts. I don't like that idea because, when I attend a shower, I like to see all the baby gifts.

The suggestion is that I open gifts as people arrive.

Worth noting that I had a baby shower a month ago that was supposed to be drop-in, but ended up more like a traditional baby shower because everyone stayed the whole time.

Anyone else had a drop-in baby shower? How/when did you open the gifts?
