I had a transabdominal CVS done yesterday. I've been having slight cramping on and off since then but I'm drinking lots of water. I also feel like I have trapped gas in my upper abdomen that's uncomfortable. I feel like I either grew a bigger belly overnight or I'm slightly swollen. Did these things happen to you? Which side effects did you have?

I had mild cramping and bleeding for a few hours after the procedure. I felt fine the next day. I had my FISH results within 48 hours. Waiting for that call was so agonizing! Hope you feel better soon.

I had one and yeah, I felt hugely bloated for a couple of days. Just crappy, not to mention insanely anxious. I wasn't allowed to take the stairs for a week and I remember taking the elevator EVERYWHERE.

I had CVS when I was pregnant with B. I don't remember any bleeding or cramping. It was pretty uneventful. Fingers crossed you get your results back soon!!

I had one, and I was definitely crampy and bleeding a tiny bit for a couple weeks.

I thought the procedure totally sucked. I felt really uncomfortable after but I don't remember it lasting more than a day or so. Hope you feel better soon and get quick results!

Did anyone's cramps get worse the day after the CVS? My cramps today are definitely more intense. They're not in the "severe" category though.

I don't remember very clearly, but I remember feeling like it hurt to move...take it really easy and if it gets worse, not better, call!
