I cannot even tell you how many people have asked me about the state of my cervix in the past week. "What did the doctor say? Are you dilated at all? Is there any progress down there?" Like, coworkers, random acquaintances, my husband's aunt. UGH!

The other one I like?
"So, did the doctor say when the baby's going to come?"
"Uh, they don't know."
"Yeah but they can tell how things are going down there, right?"
"Um, yes, but ... they still can't tell when he's going to come."

STOP talking about my "down there." Because if not, I'm going to tell you all about my "down there" after I have the baby, and you're not going to want to hear about that.

I also like, "How are you feeling today?" At work. At 39 weeks pregnant. I'm assuming they don't want me to respond, "Like the baby's going to fall out of my pee hole."
