As an adult, no.

As a kid, I might have been less offended (can little kids be offended?), but might have asked where my party favor was. I was a pretty blunt kid though.

I answered the poll as an adult, but wanted to comment once I thought more about it.

I think it'd be a nice touch to have favors for kids, but it's not necessary!

I voted who the F cares but I do like getting favors at parties!

for 1 year olds, no way. They don't eat candy and as an adult I don't need any additional sweet treats in my life (especially after cake!)

We didn't do them, no one even noticed as far as I know. We have gotten a few favors lately and no offense to the givers but we ended up throwing them away because they were cheap plastic things that just drove me nuts.

I was slightly obsessed with having favors....we didn't do anything special, just play dough, but I REALLY wanted them. Well I still have mounds of play dough sitting around! Lots of people forgot to get them. I learned my lesson and probably won't do them again!

We didn't do them for the boys' party, and I seriously couldn't care less about favors when I go to parties. At one, I say skip them and no one will care at all!

I don't remember my mom ever doing favors for my parties growing up...and my friends always loved parties at our house!

No....if I attend a party that has favors I usually forget them anyway!

We definitely did not do them at M's 1st bday party. All the other kids were too young to care, and the parents were grateful to not have crap to lug home.

Definitely would not care if there were no favors. The best part about the party is cake

I only did them for the kids and only cause they were 4+ and up

My kiddo is another fan of goody bags, so I think at least for kid guests it would be nice.

Oh man! I am so glad you made this thread. I am, now, not doing favours either! WOOOOO. Such a pain in the ass. I did them for the boys 6 & 9 lego parties, and although cute, they were so much work.

I never want to be that crafty again.

Nope, and wow, I've never seen a HB poll that is so unanimous! Haha. I wouldn't give it a second thought!

I don't think it is necessary for a 1st bday unless you have a lot of older kids coming. Then they do enjoy getting them. I didn't do favors for DD1's party, but I did for DD2. I just felt like doing them the 2nd time around since it was a smaller party with older kids that would care.
