Would you rather be pregnant in your third trimester in the summer or winter?

I had LO this Aug 3 and we had the hottest summer since like 1930 this year and...it really wasn't that bad. I WAS miserably hot, but not any hotter than a non-pregnant me would have been. DH did comment that the power bill was MUCH higher than normal. I did get out and walk in the morning up to the end, I just planned to do it early before the day really heated up.

I would worry about falling in the winter. In general, I hate winter more so that could leave me a little biased

Winter all the way, I am ginger and don't tolerate heat at all! I'm a little nervous, we are about to start trying again, and that makes me dread summer even more!

ETA: I mean no offense to anyone using the term ginger.

This is my first pregnancy and I'm due beginning of January and so far the third trimester in the winter has been great! (I'm also in the south so winters are mild) I think the only downfall is that I'm hating clothes at this point and wish I could just wear a dress and flip flops!

Winter. I am normally one who is always cold...not anymore. I cant imagine being so "hot" all the time and it being summer on top of it all.

WINTER.... I'm so glad I've been in my third trimester during winter both times. I am just a gloomy, crisp, cold weather kind of gal - if I could, I would totally move to Seattle or Portland. I love how the wind hits my face - I love bundling up in layers... I love boots, scarves, coats, mittens, and all that.

California winters are also pretty mild so it's my favorite time of year here!

I would say Summer even though our SoCal summers are hot. Just because I'd rather fully live in comfy maxi dresses all 3rd trimester! Also, the slippery ice thing IS scary for me in the winter when we go up to the mountains. I feel like I'm on house-arrest cuz I'm scared to go out! Being bloated in 1st Tri in the Summer was also tricky because I just straight out look puffy, not clearly preggers, and still look just fat, not preggers in all my winter sweaters and coats now.

I was pg in summer and glad! I sat in a baby pool in backyard...wore shorts and t shirts, I was super swollen and could only wear flip flops. Thank goodness! And I mean I was huge prego!

Summer for sure! I loved all my cute dresses, barely had to wear anything, didn't have to cram my big feet into boots.

I have four weeks left and so far being pregnant in the winter has been pretty easy. I do worry about a snow storm preventing us from a quick trip to the hospital, but it's only three miles away.
And I'm glad that I don't have to wear shorts and tank tops because my body confidence is pretty low right now. I'm happy to cover up in sweaters and ponchos.

Winter for sure!!!!! I want to have my next baby in February 2014. Wonder how likely it is that I can make that happen....

I didn't love being pregnant in the summer (DS was born 8-8), but it wasn't awful. I just pretty much lived in tanks, skirts and flip flops. The only real downside was a higher electric bill since I need to be cold to sleep, and had the AC lower than normal to get me there. But it was still probably less than I would have spent on maternity sweaters and coat.

Summer for sure. I had DS in the summer in Mexico and while it was hot, it was super easy to dress and I could enjoy the pool. Dressing a third tri belly is such a pain now that it's getting cold!
