@googly-eyes: yah was differentiating pediatric nurses from baby nurses.
Baby nurses often spend 20 hours a day with one baby for weeks or months in a row, and live with you and sleep in the same room as your baby. Pediatric nurses will usually rotate between a number of babies. They have vastly more medical knowledge, but when it comes to something like the impact of holding a baby... I have learned to listen to a baby nurse's experience!

i don't think up to 3 months is considered spoiling. newborns need to be held.
