Once I was past my EDD I got seriously annoyed with everybody referring to me as being "overdue." I wanted to scream that I was only post dates, not technically overdue. Because everyone cares about terminology. Lol.

I went until 42 weeks and every now and again I would just post a status like this "No, I have not had the baby yet".

And I shared the website that @FarmWifeGina: shared. So annoying. Especially when I was still pregnant and getting the bump emails about my 2 week old baby. My midwife gave me some extra monitoring once I hit 41 weeks, but never made it like it was the end of the world.

Ugh. Sorry that you are dealing with that. It's also difficult trying to educate people that due dates are just mere guidelines.

Once I get pregnant, I may not actually share my projected due date at all.

Q: When is the baby due?
A: When she/he is done cooking.

@HolisticMama: I did that too, just shared the time of month or something similar, to keep people from getting too stuck on a date. With Rosie, I said we were expecting a Thanksgiving baby (over a week past my EDD). I thought for sure we'd have a baby by then. But no, of course not. As much as I believe in a baby choosing it's own birthday, I was a hormonal basket case there in the last few days.

Gah, I started getting those questions like a month before my due date? I locked down my FB so people couldn't post on my wall!

I was such a cranky mess the two weeks before my guess date. My boss would stop at my desk 3-4 times a day and ask "Anything yet? Do you feel anything?" RAGE. It helped me to just ignore my Facebook and email until the baby was born. Pretty sure I stopped answering calls and texts too.

@Vegmama and @Emsmems I'm anxiously waiting and have had 3 calls today asking me how I feel and have I gone yet. I'm already on pins and needles and am trying not to go out of my mind. I have to gently remind myself that I'm really not due until the 15th.... the baby will be here soon enough.

For #2, there are certain people that know our due Month, or "end of" said month, we are due on the 12th (of May) and I have zero interest in dealing we those folks again! crazy came out of the woodwork with some friends!

I thought it was funny that whenever I called my family or close friends the week or two before my due date, they would immediately answer. When it became clear I wasn't calling to tell them I was in labor, half the time they'd tell me the couldn't talk and they'd call me back.

How are you feeling is such a nice thing to ask, but at the end of pregnancy I thought I was going to kill everyone who asked me that! I shut down my facebook wall too, so that I could avoid the questions! Those last couple of weeks I had very little tolerance for the people around me, it was not good!

Ugh I'm 38+6 and people are driving me crazy! Every time I post ANYTHING on FB I get questioned.

Ex: Today, I posted "Dare I say the TIDE has turned?!" (which I thought was CLEARLY a reference to Alabama losing their football game). Nope, 4 texts in a half hour. Seriously people.
