My estimated due date was 10/9 and although I've had contractions and other signs, it just hasn't happened yet. Anyone else late and what are you doing to relax and stay patient?

technically I did have DS two days past my due date
after 3 weeks of bedrest I was definitely ready to be done!
I feel like any kind of distraction from sitting and thinking about everything was a good way to make the time pass, trying to be productive - can you get your list/template ready for the birth announcements? I wish I had done that. Do you have hand sanitizer in the house for the first guests that come over?Wish I lived closer, I'd come over every day!

That is a good idea though to get the announcement list together. That will be a good thing for me to work on next week if he still isn't here.

@Audge10: also - did you see the Groupon I sent you? it was recommended for family holiday cards and looks really cute. I'm trying to schedule a family portrait with another Groupon I bought that expires the 24th (Picture People).

I'm not technically late yet (tomorrow is my due date) but I've lost my mind. My doctor tells me every.single.week: "You're gona pop....you're ready!" but then....here I am.
Honestly, I have an induction already scheduled for Monday the 15th because I can't even sleep at night and my ribs are so sore that it hurts to inhale! So, I guess I am no where near as patient as you.
I have been doing things like walking in the mall, going to the movies, meeting up with friends....even that is hard though because I don't feel well.
Just remember every day inside is better for baby. I keep repeating that to myself. -
@Audge10: Come visit October Mama's thread, give me a few days and I will be part of the overdue party too! EDD is Saturday! I haven't had any sort of contractions, and trying to not get too excited as I see all of the other October babies arrive!
Do you know if you are having a boy or girl?!

I went 12 days over with DD before she decided to come. I basically slept as much as I could all day long since I couldn't sleep for squat at night anymore. =/
Promise you won't be pregnant forever! GL

@Runsyellowlites: OMGGGG HOW DID YOU DO IT? That's amazing.I think @sorrycharlie was like 2 days late but then her labor was pretty quick! So, maybe there is that benefit of being a little late....

I'm five days overdue today and I've developed toothache - boo for me!
If I don't pop by Wednesday next week (ten days overdue) then I have to go up to the hospital for a post-dates assessment and if everything still looks ok my midwife won't induce until fourteen days over.
Today's the first day I've been cranky about being overdue and I'm starting to run out of things to clean around my house...
