@PawPrints: I'm hoping so! I got straight into the shower then ate some food once we got home. I hope I can sleep, I think it'll help my body do what it needs to! DH is exhausted, so I hope he also gets some good rest. I'm hoping we will be back at L&D sometime tomorrow.

@Boopers: Sorry to hear they sent you home. Hopefully you'll be back there soon!

So, it turns out it wasn't false labour at all. DH and I came to the hospital at 4:30 am, (after feeling that first contraction at 2:15) but I was only .5 cm but fully effaced. I walked for half and hr, laboured in the tub for half an hr, and then got checked again at triage - 2.5 cm. That was at 6 am. My contractions really ramped up once I was admitted, and I asked for my epidural, which was set up by 7:30. Sweet relief! Had my cervix checked at 8:30, and the nurse thinks I'm fully dilated!!! Holy cow! My doctor will be here in an hour, so in about an hour and a half I can start pushing. I'll update everyone once baby arrives!

Well baby PawPrints came along fast and furious today. I had a TWO HOUR labor from start to finish. They said it might be a birth center record. We are so in love and still a little stunned.

So, we have three little Easter bunnies to celebrate! Baby boy arrived yesterday afternoon following a record (not quite as amazing as @Pawprints!) dilation (less than 4 hours from fully closed to fully open) and then 4 hours of pushing - all told it was just under 12 hours from my very first real contraction of the pregnancy. The details and the first 9 minutes, which were a little scary, I'll leave until later, but suffice it to say, we are both doing well. DH is being so amazing with him, too! I'll be on later to catch up, but wanted to give everyone a quick update first.

So many babies are getting here! I am halfway extremely excited and halfway "No, no, I'm not ready! People can not be going into labor and having their babies!". Congratulations mamas!

@Banana330: if you want to add middle names, Ryan's is Elizabeth. Not sure if I had shared that.

@Astro Bee: congrats! Wow two fast births in a day!
