@buttermilk: does barometric pressure affect labor? We are supposed to have some crazy high/low pressure thing where the temp drops 30 degrees and we have crazy storms tomorrow and then by Wednesday back up to the 80s/90s

@OhCaptain: yes! I think it affects it even more so than full moons!

@OhCaptain: it sucks cause they're about to start worrying about his weight. He's such a lazy nurser...maybe something to do with being a little early. But I'm pumping one feed ahead of him now so at least we can make sure he's getting enough. Poor thing!

@Portboston: Oh but so worth it, isn't it?! I what a sweetheart
Come onnnn barometric pressure change!! (Not sure if we are expecting one here). I'm going to th zoo tomorrow with hubby and DS. That's what caused me to go in to labour with DS 2 years ago. We'll see what happens!!

@Portboston: I'm sorry! I'm hoping the fact that we'll be easing into it will spare me the worst of that. Not that pumping feels great. Though maybe it will have gotten my boobs used to being messed with a little? Hope yours feel better soon, and that he keeps (starts?) gaining well. I did see an IBCLC this week, and she was amazing. The hospital LC's were useless, but she really helped.

She's here. Baby Emma was born yesterday at 6:00 pm. She was 7 pounds 2 ounces and 20 & a half inches long. I had a successful vaginal delivery after induction. The induction started really late as they were short nurses. Dilation phase was longer than my first delivery but I only pushed about 15 minutes. The joy of being a second timer. I will try to post more at home when we get home.

@kayakgirl73: Ah! Congrats!! Was it a scheduled induction? Welcome baby Emma! Good job only making mama push for 15 mins

@getjazzy: yes scheduled induction. I was 3 centimeters on Wednesday and I'm AMA and baby had been breech for a long time.
