Hanging out on pitocin. No pain but regular contractions. Waiting for her to come down further still.

Water broke! Still 3cm.

@agold: Thanks for checking in! Just hanging out over here. We had a great weekend - time with both families, dinner with a friend from out of town, time at the lake, time at the park, ice cream, some shopping, cleaned the house, laundry all done to start the week, etc. Feeling very pregnant and like my poor pubic bone/pelvis is going to break open at any point but I've been able to do some rebozo sifting and get her into a bit of a more comfy position. Just waiting on labor or an induction - whichever comes first!

@agold: I have an NST on Wednesday and then a midwife appointment on Friday.

Yes!! Relax up and enjoy yourself once your maternity leave starts this week! It's almost here! Just a couple days.

@coopsmama: you're role model of patience! I'm 39w6 today, but dd was born at 39w4, so I'm feeling way overdue and done.

@OldpuebloJenn: You're sweet. Well, I'm trying to be patient. I went 10 days later with my second than my first and that taught me a LOT. I was so afraid she would be huge compared to my first (he was 9lbs, 3oz) but she was only 8lbs, 13oz and I think helped me learn that each baby is on their own time frame. I just want to give the best to each baby and if it takes longer for one than the other (up to 42 weeks for my own comfort level) I will give it to them.

That said, I have simplified my life since about 39 weeks and have just been resting and enjoying life without a newborn to avoid feeling so down about being late yet again!

@agold: I'm tomorrow!!

@agold: We did some errands this morning and then got lunch with my parents. I'm relaxing at the moment, trying to enjoy my down time while I've got it. Tonight we'll order some take out, maybe pizza. Very low key, which I think we need.

Tomorrow I have a c section scheduled for 8:30am. I'm in pain pretty much all the time, so I can not wait.
